Goals for new hires elevates your role as hiring manager by allowing you to set measurable and attainable growth-related objectives for your new hires.

Unlike tasks, which commonly focus on administrative actions at the organization or department level, goals provide clear onboarding objectives specific to a new employee's role. This creates stronger alignment between you and your new hires by defining what success looks like in the critical 30-day onboarding period.

Get started with onboarding goals

To begin, select an employee from the My New Hires section on your homepage.

Job kickoff form responses

If the hiring manager submitted a job kickoff form for this role in Greenhouse Recruiting, their responses to goals-related kickoff questions will be available in Greenhouse Onboarding. Use job kickoff responses to guide you when creating onboarding goals for your new hire.

Under the Job kickoff form section for 30 day goals, click Expand section.
