Goals improve the onboarding experience by allowing hiring managers to set measurable and attainable growth-related objectives for their new hires.

Unlike tasks, which commonly focus on administrative actions (for example, completing a W-4 form), goals provide clear onboarding objectives specific to the employee's role. 

By setting goals, hiring managers empower their new hires and align on what success looks like in the critical 30-day onboarding period. In turn, new hires enjoy more structure, track onboarding milestones, and manage their onboarding plan in one place, reducing potential employee churn and friction between multiple onboarding applications.
