Greenhouse Onboarding supports the following third-party task systems by default:

In addition, you can integrate any other third-party task system with Greenhouse Onboarding, so long as it meets specific criteria. Use this article to learn how to set up another third-party task system in Greenhouse Onboarding.

Integration criteria

Greenhouse Onboarding can connect with most third-party task systems if they meet the following conditions:

  • Email address from your task system's board or project
  • Email address configured to receive emails from systems like Greenhouse Onboarding

Note: Reach out to Greenhouse Technical Support for additional help.

Connect your 3rd-party task system

Once you've retrieved your third-party task system's email address, navigate to Greenhouse Onboarding.

From your Greenhouse Onboarding homepage, click Settings.

On the Settings page, navigate to Company Info 3rd-Party Task Systems.

Add New button highlighted on 3rd Party Task Systems page in Greenhouse Onboarding Settings

Give your third-party task system a Name. This name will be used when displaying your integration in the integrations menu and other locations within Greenhouse Onboarding.

Next, select Other from the System dropdown.

Input a System Name. Greenhouse uses this field internally to track which other systems are being integrated with Greenhouse Onboarding.

Paste the Email Address from your third-party task system. Greenhouse Onboarding will use this email to send tasks.

Configure viewable fields

Since Greenhouse Onboarding allows you to insert tokens into tasks (which may reveal personally identifiable information), you'll need to explicitly configure which fields your third-party system can view.

Use the Viewable Fields (Optional) dropdown to select which Greenhouse Onboarding fields your third-party system can view. If a task with a non-viewable token is assigned to the third-party system, Greenhouse Onboarding will block the system from viewing this information.

When you're finished, click Save and Close.

Your other third-party task system is now integrated with Greenhouse Onboarding, and you can begin assigning tasks. Repeat the above steps for any additional task systems that your organization wants to connect.
