Summer packaged release

External job board UI updates

Released a completely overhauled experience for external job boards to allow organizations easier control over job board styling and functionality:

  • Streamlined, no-code customization options for job board layout, colors, fonts, and buttons. 
  • Options to add 'New' tags to recent job posts
  • Redesigned configuration page
  • WCAG 2.0AA accessibility

New essential reports for scheduling activity

A new essential report, Scheduling Activity, provides organizations with a high-level view of interviews created, scheduled, pending, or completed in a specific time range.

Reschedule self-scheduled interviews

A new setting has been added under Configure > Permissions that allows candidates to reschedule self-scheduled interviews up to 24 hours before the scheduled interview time.

Once the setting is turned on, add the {{INTERVIEW_RESCHEDULE_LINK}} token to the Candidate Interview Confirmation template to give candidates access to the new link.

Note: Candidate self-scheduling is only available to Advanced and Expert tier customers.

Parent/child relationship in Openings custom fields

Expert-tier customers can add dependencies to custom Opening fields (similar to parent child relationships in Offer fields) to help streamline their workflows and only show specific the most relevant fields when opening a job.  

New DocuSign Tokens

The following tokens have been added to the DocuSign integration and can be used in templates:

  • Single-line text inputs for candidates
  • Single-line text inputs for company counter signers
  • Long text inputs for candidates
  • Long text inputs for company countersigners

Other changes

  • Overhauled the Webhook Log page to add better search and filtering so it's easier to locate, diagnose, and fix webhook issues.
  • Added a new "Can manage unattached prospects" permission for job admins so organizations can take greater control over their prospect permissions. 
  • Added an organization setting under Configure > Permissions to include an interviewer's title when scheduling interviews. 
  • Added two new settings under Configure > Organization to allow organizations to deactivate users' ability to submit referrals or generate referral links. 
  • Users can now select multiple options when creating permission rules.

Candidate profile updates

As part of our continuing rollout of the new candidate profile, we've made the following updates and fixes in the new experience:

  • Added an Agency tag to the profile header
  • Improved alerts across the candidate profile
    • Moved "time in stage" alerts within the stages panel 
    • Updated the appearance and verbiage of alert text in the All Stages view
    • Added Duplicate Candidate alert to the header that can be clicked to address the duplicate record
  • Removed inactive Agency Recruiter accounts as options in dropdown menus
  • Tooltip text can now be highlighted for copy/paste
  • Updated dropdown menus across the candidate profile to allow users to fully scroll all options without having to narrow the search with the text field
  • Updated the styling for buttons in the candidate rejection window to reduce the risk of sending unintended rejection emails 
  • Added a blank Opening ID field when the candidate is hired
  • Improved self-schedule windows to include all steps on a single page
  • Updated behavior of submitted candidate forms to include any added links in the submitted form response, instead of under the Websites section of the right panel.
  • Updated take-home test emails so any email address can be typed in the 'To' field.

Over the past month, we've also released the following fixes to the new experience:

  • Fixed an issue where opening a Calendly email wouldn't include users entered in the CC field of the template
  • Fixed an issue where jobs couldn't be copied if used a self-schedule request with a user who had disconnected their calendar 
  • Fixed an issue where users couldn't transfer hired candidates
  • Fixed an issue where completed prospect post questions weren't being shown on the new candidate profile
  • Fixed an issue dates on the candidate profile were displaying as one day earlier than the date selected
  • Fixed an issue where users couldn't modify the Sent On field for the offer after the candidate was marked as hired
  • Fixed an issue with Zenefits integration where trying to export candidates using the button in the header was showing an error
  • Fixed an issue where long stage or form names in the right panel were pushing the edit button off the page
  • Fixed an issue where removing and re-adding a grader to a take-home test would add a new stage instead of adding the grader to the existing test.
  • Fixed where custom rejection fields when a candidate was rejected in any stage, rather than the option stage that was chosen when setting up the custom field.
  • Fixed an issue where resizing a window across a page would remove any unsaved values

  • Candidate testing: Personality Insights has a simple integration with Greenhouse that adds an automated DISC personality assessment system. 
  • Free job posts: The Hub is the biggest recruitment platform for startups and scale-ups in the Nordics, with more than 1500 daily applications and over 500k talents in their talent base.
  • Free job posts: X Hiring allows your organization to post for free to X and reach millions of relevant candidates or become a Verified Organization to enhance your hiring capabilities.
  • HRIS and onboarding: Lattice’s integration with Greenhouse Recruiting allows for mutual Greenhouse and Lattice customers to seamlessly transfer hired candidates from Greenhouse to Lattice.
  • Optimization: Covey helps teams focus on the best candidates in their hiring pipeline with plain-language AI resume screening and outreach.

Bug fixes

  • Organizations using the old candidate profile encountered an error attaching documents to Adobe eSignature requests. 
  • Fixed an issue where a user was receiving automated alerts about a pending approval request, even though the job was already approved
  • LinkedIn Apply Connect:
    • Fixed an issue where offline job posts were displaying a "job was not found" error under the LinkedIn Status
    • Fixed an issue where users couldn't enter their Company URL once Apply Connect or enable Easy Apply when using the new job board interface
    • Fixed syncing with LinkedIn Apply Connect fully remove pending job posts if the job is deleted in Greenhouse while the post is being processed by LinkedIn
    • Updated how Greenhouse handles syncing with LinkedIn so that multiple notes are added to the job when the LinkedIn sync fails
  • Corrected an issue where lookup credit balances weren't displaying under the Sourcing Automation Settings 
  • Fixed an issue where adding attachments to Adobe eSignature agreements through email template attachments was showing an error
  • Fixed an issue where the GDPR banner wasn't showing immediately in the candidate profile when the candidate manually denied consent
  • Fixed an issue where GDPR banners weren't displaying the retention date when an organization changed their legal basis to explicit consent
  • Fixed issues with sandbox sync:
    • Harvest API keys will be correctly retained in sandboxes so they don't have to be recreated after every sync
    • Offer letter templates will now be correctly synced
  • Fixed an issue where multiple webhook events were being logged whenever a candidate was merged
  • Fixed an issue where inactive custom offer field options were still available in the dropdown menus on offers
  • Updated error messages when uploading templates with an invalid token be more helpful
  • Fixed formatting issues on an error message in Greenhouse Onboarding.
