Create templates in Amiqus
Before you can send requests from Greenhouse, you'll need to have at least one Live request template set up in Amiqus, from which to select from. You can find information you need to create request templates in the following articles:
- How to use request templates
- How you can customise your workflow
- Workflow and Admin Overview Training Video
Please note that any messaging within your templates will be the same for all candidates; there are no dynamic fields within the messaging (eg for the candidates name).
Use the Amiqus integration
Once the Amiqus integration is enabled for your organization, you will be able to add the Amiqus Background check as an interview stage.
You can send this to a candidate by selecting the Send Test button next to the interview stage. The assessment instructions will be sent by Amiqus.
- In the Interview Plan of a new job or when editing a current job, select Add Stage.
- Choose Amiqus and click Add. Then move this stage to the place in the plan you would like the Amiqus Request to be sent. You can change the order of stages in an interview plan by clicking and dragging on the stage name.
- Optionally, once the stage is in the interview plan, you can modify it by selecting the pencil icon next to the stage name. Here you can select the specific background check template from your Amiqus account.
- Whenever a candidate reaches this stage, the Send test to candidate option will be ready to select.
- After it has been sent, an assessment’s status will display in Greenhouse Recruiting.
Set up notifications
If you would like to receive notifications on the check status, we recommend assigning yourself and/or a colleague to the person and/or request in Amiqus, that way you'll be notified when the candidate completes the request.
You can do this on an individual basis within each person or request, or you can set this up within a request template.
You can customise your notification settings at any time, choosing from in app and/or email notifications.
Check results
Once the candidate has completed their request, they'll be marked as Ready for Review in Amiqus. Once you are happy with the check results, you will need to mark the request as Reviewed.
Once the check has been marked as Reviewed, the assessment's status will be sent to Greenhouse and iinclude a link to view the background check in Amiqus.
