Greenhouse Real Talent™ is a top-of-funnel solution designed to help recruiting teams focus on real, qualified candidates faster. It brings together AI-powered Talent Matching, spam protection, fraud detection, and CLEAR® identity verification directly inside the Greenhouse workflow.
Real Talent reduces noise, protects against misrepresentation, and gives teams greater confidence in who they advance, all while keeping humans fully in control of hiring decisions.
Fraud detection
Fraud detection flags suspicious applications by analyzing signals like phone number, email, IP address, and location, giving recruiters an early warning as they review applicants.

Spam blocklist
Spam blocklist lets you block specific IP addresses or email domains and addresses based on patterns you’ve already seen, like repeat spam submissions or known bad actors. You decide who to block and can update the list anytime.

Identity verification
Confirm candidate authenticity with integrated identity verification. Identity checks can be triggered at key moments in the process, like before interviews or offers, without slowing things down.

Talent Matching
AI-powered filters organize applications based on how they match your job criteria, such as skills, industry, and experience. Assistive filters make it easy to review the strongest matches first and quickly spot potential fraud risks.
Recruiters define and weigh the job criteria, see exactly why a candidate was flagged and filter applicants by priority candidates, fraud status, application date, location, and more. Talent Matching never advances or rejects candidates automatically.

Scheduling buffer times
Schedulers can now add buffer time before and after interviews when creating self-scheduling requests or sending a scheduling link in Greenhouse. Buffers can be set in 15-minute increments and are automatically factored into interviewer availability, so candidates only see time slots that include protected prep or follow-up time.
Buffer times help prevent back-to-back interviews, reduces interviewer fatigue, and supports more thoughtful evaluations. By automatically building in breathing room, teams can create a more sustainable interview schedule without adding manual coordination or risk of errors.
Custom offer field dependencies
Organizations can now configure offer template dependencies based on offer custom field values, such as Relocation or Bonus Type. With support for single-select and multi-select custom fields, teams can control which templates are available for a given offer based on its field selections.
This helps reduce template selection errors and simplifies template management as teams version and update offer documents.

Self-service setup for custom SMTP domains
Organizations can now fully manage their email sending settings directly under Configure > Email settings, instead of having to contact Technical Support to enable the feature. In addition to configuring custom SMTP, organizations can switch between custom SMTP and Mailgun and enter all required details right from the app, instead of contacting Greenhouse support.

Scheduled reporting
Greenhouse Onboarding administrators can now schedule reports to be sent automatically on a recurring basis. Reports can be configured to run daily, weekly, or monthly and are delivered by email with a secure link to access the report in Greenhouse Onboarding.
Scheduled reporting reduces the need to manually generate recurring reports and helps teams stay informed about onboarding activity. Reports are accessed through secure authentication in Greenhouse Onboarding rather than static email attachments, supporting stronger data security.
