Greenhouse offers automatic data mapping for candidate fields from Greenhouse Recruiting to Greenhouse Onboarding.  By default, the following information for each pending hire is transferred using the integration:

  • Legal first name
  • Legal last name
  • Personal email
  • Personal phone
  • Personal pronouns
  • Name pronunciation
  • Other criteria
Note: Only candidates hired after March 9, 2022, have their pronouns and pronunciations automatically mapped to their new hire profile in Greenhouse Onboarding. If your organization was created prior to March 9, 2022, edit access of pronouns must be manually enabled for each user group in your organization.

We recommend your organization use the default fields for better data consistency. These fields have also been tested and approved by Greenhouse for their focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion.

This guide shows Owners how to delete existing custom fields so your organization can adopt the default fields.

Delete your custom field(s)

To begin, click Settings at the top of your Greenhouse Onboarding dashboard. Then, navigate to Fields under Company Info in the left-side panel.
