Auto-replace declined interviewers

When an interviewer declines, Greenhouse will now automatically assign a new eligible interviewer from the Interviewer Group and email the organizer with the update.

If no match is available (or the interview is less than 24 hours away), we’ll notify you so you can reschedule without surprising the candidate. This reduces last-minute scrambling and keeps interviews on track.

Customized approval emails

Organizations can now tailor what appears in approval request emails for a cleaner, more relevant summary:

  • Choose which opening, job, and offer fields to include or exclude.

  • Automatically omit fields with empty values.

  • Choose whether to include the candidate offer packet, giving tighter control over sharing candidate PII.

Navigate to Configure > Approvals > Configure Approval Emails to try it out.

Replace offer letter templates

Teams can now replace the file in an existing offer letter template without deleting or recreating the entire template.

This update simplifies document management, making it easier to keep offer letters accurate and compliant, especially for teams hiring across multiple locations. It also introduces a refreshed table layout for a more consistent experience in Greenhouse Recruiting.

Offer letter templates can be updated under Configure > Documents > Offer Templates.

Search by company name

Job seekers can now search for open roles by company name on MyGreenhouse.

This update helps candidates easily discover opportunities at companies they already know and admire, while giving your brand greater visibility in MyGreenhouse. It’s another step toward creating a more intuitive, candidate-first experience.

Phone number mapping

Greenhouse Onboarding now supports mapping phone number fields directly from Greenhouse Recruiting. This ensures new hires' contact information is complete and reliable, helping teams and partners communicate from day one.

By default, new hires' home phone number is mapped automatically from Greenhouse Recruiting to Greenhouse Onboarding. If teams prefer to use a different phone number field, this can be configured as a custom mapping to ensure the correct phone number is carried over.
