For your convenience, Greenhouse Recruiting pre-populates certain default fields for your jobs, candidates, and offers. Before creating a custom field, make sure that the field does not already exist as one of Greenhouse Recruiting's pre-populated defaults.
In this article, we cover what default fields are available to you and how you can customize additional fields for Jobs, Candidates, and Offers. Additionally, we provide resources for Advanced and Expert customers at the end of this article for those interested in customizing application fields.
Job Fields
By default, Greenhouse pre-populates the following job fields:

Using custom job fields, you can further customize this default form to include other information you would like to include. In the following example, the job form was customized with additional job fields that was not included in Greenhouse Recruiting's pre-populated defaults.

Candidate Fields

Custom Application Fields
Note: Custom Application Fields are available for organizations with an Advanced or Expert subscription.
There are no system defaults for application fields. However, Advanced and Expert customers can customize their own application fields which they can subsequently link to specific questions on job applications.
