AI-powered interview questions

Writing interview questions for a role is a critical part of your interview process, but often overwhelming when you have to start from scratch. Now, Greenhouse users can use AI to quickly generate interview questions based on existing job information, such as the job description and job title. This feature is available for all subscription tiers.

Calculated custom fields and default options

Streamline offer creation with prefill options for custom fields, allowing you to set default values or create calculated fields based on formulas. Prefill options help ensure consistency, reduce manual data entry, and eliminate the need for external tools to calculate key offer details like salary breakdowns or bonus amounts. Read more here.

New filter options in Talent Filtering

Using keywords in Talent Filtering is a great way to find candidates who match your job requirements. However, until this month, there hasn't been a way to remove search results that don't match your ideal candidates. New filters allow you to filter out candidates whose resumes include specific keywords and exclude candidates who have already been rejected from the job.

Reject candidates while closing a job

Rejecting active candidates when closing a role is critical in maintaining data integrity in your system and ensuring a positive candidate experience. While many users still remember to do this step, it could be a smoother part of the workflow.

Now, when a candidate is marked as hired for a role or a job is otherwise closed, you'll be prompted to reject any remaining candidates.

Update custom SMTP domain settings directly in-app

Organizations using a custom SMTP email domain can now manage their settings directly on the Email Settings page instead of going to support. Read more about custom SMTP email domains here.

Sandbox sync + HRIS Link for Workday compatibility

Organizations using both Sandbox Sync and HRIS Link for Workday ®️ can now sync the settings from each integration to their production sandbox, making it easier to test new configurations while keeping Greenhouse Recruiting sandbox environments in sync with production instances.

Business Intelligence Connector (BIC)

On February 19, 2025, we added a new job_post_locations table to the BIC schema. 

There is an upcoming change to the BIC on March 5, 2025 to add a new preferred_name column to the candidates table.

A new HRIS Link for ADP Workforce Now integration allows you to import users and export new hires from Greenhouse Recruiting or export new hires from Greenhouse Onboarding. This integration seamlessly connects Greenhouse to ADP, streamlining hiring processes, enhancing reporting capabilities, and reducing manual data entry errors. Automated data transfer ensures accurate employee records and supports efficient recruiting at scale. Read more here.

Note: The previous ADP integration settings are unchanged, but the integration is now considered "legacy" and new configurations using this connection will no longer be supported.

Bug fixes

  • Fixed an issue where some departments weren't visible to job admins during job creation.
  • Fixed an issue where candidates couldn't redo a security check when applying if they failed it the first time.
  • Fixed an issue where recently-viewed candidates weren't showing up in the "recently viewed" menu.
  • Fixed an issue where DocuSign envelopes weren't being voided when a new offer version was created.
