Greenhouse Recruiting

Featured job posts

Job posts can now be marked as "featured" so that they're highlighted at the top of your job board to bring the attention of candidates to specific openings at your organization. Read more here.

Note: Featured job posts are only available if you're using the new job board customization options.

Internal job board embedding

Your organization can easily host and embed internal job boards on other sites - like a company site or your intranet - using an iFrame, allowing you to easily highlight internal job boards in the resources that are most referenced by your team. Read more about job board embedding here.

Note: Internal job board embedding is only available if you're using the new job board customization options.

Command palette

Command Palette is a reimagined way to navigate Greenhouse Recruiting, placing all your search results in one place. In addition to candidates and jobs, the Command Palette can be used to search based on phone number, or find specific pages listed on the Configure page.

Command Palette can be accessed anywhere in the app using the keyboard shortcut Command (⌘) + K on Apple devices, Ctrl + K on Windows, or by clicking the search bar at the top of your page.

Archiving and restoring custom fields

All tiers now have access to a refreshed custom field page, including the ability to archive and restore custom fields. When a field is archived, you can’t change old values or add new ones for future candidates, jobs, or prospects. This keeps users from entering data in outdated or unused fields, but allows you to reference the previously-entered data on individual candidates and jobs.

Archived fields won't be included in reports, but are still available through the Harvest API and Business Intelligence Connector.

Dependent job and opening custom fields

Expert tier customers can now add dependencies to job and opening custom fields to better manage structured data across your organization. Read more here.

Bulk team hiring updates

Advanced and Expert tiers can now update the assigned hiring team for multiple jobs at once under the Bulk Actions menu on the All Candidates page. Read more here.

Candidate profile enhancements

In the past month, we've released a number of new features and changes to the candidate profile:

Keyboard shortcuts

Use keyboard shortcuts to quickly perform important actions on the candidate profile. The keyboard shortcut menu can be accessed by pressing Shift+/.

Pinned notes

Important notes can now be pinned in the right panel so they always display at the top of the list. This allows your team to keep relevant information handy, even when lots of communication is occuring. We've also added filtering, allowing you to filter by pinned notes, visibility, note creator, and job association.

Private mode

Added a toggle to switch the candidate profile to Private mode. When in private mode, certain sensitive or private data is hidden, allowing you to share your screen when conducting an interview roundup or reviewing scorecards, without the risk of other participants unintentionally seeing sensitive information, like private notes.

More information in the main panel

Improved the view of the main panel to show all interview stages at a glance so it is easily referencable across the candidate's hiring plan. Stages now include more details about the candidate's availability.

In addition to these changes, we've also made a number of small updates to improve the readability of the page:

  • The RejectMove stage, and Mark as hired buttons have moved from the main panel to the header.
  • The header now minimizes when scrolling to display more of the main panel.
  • Tasks have moved from the main panel to the right panel in the Alerts section.

Other changes

In addition to the changes outlined above, we made the following updates to Greenhouse Recruiting this month.

  • Added a column to the Scheduling Activity Report for rescheduled interviews.
  • Added rescheduled interviews and declined interviews as options in the Report Builder.
  • Added Resume Anonymization Status as a filter on the Report Builder so organizations can better analyze the impact of resume anonymization on your hiring process.
  • Added a city and radius filter to Talent Filtering for organizations that are currently using those settings in candidate search.
  • Improved resume parsing services for non-English languages, including Korean, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Russian, and Dutch.

CRM

CRM events can now be duplicated, meaning you can create a new event from an existing event, rather than starting from scratch.

Business Intelligence Connector

We released a new schema for the Business Intelligence Connector on October 18, 2024. Read more here.
