The Hirevisor integration with Greenhouse allows you to automatically share candidates who are no longer actively being considered for roles at your company and invite them to Hirevisor. To link your Greenhouse account, contact Hirevisor Customer Success, or log into your Hirevisor account for an endpoint url and the secret key you'll need to get started.

Once logged into your Hirevisor account, you can visit the “Connect your ATS” Tab to obtain the values for your Greenhouse Webhook URL.

Once you have both of those items, complete the following steps to link your accounts!

In Greenhouse:

Part 1

  1. Ask a Site Admin with Advanced permissions to log into Greenhouse
  2. Have them select Configure > Users > Your Name
  3. At the bottom of the page, select Can manage and configure web hooks
  4. Save
  5. Repeat for anyone else that should have access

Part 2

  1. Now that you have the correct permissions, log into your Greenhouse account
  2. Select Configure > Dev Center > Web Hooks > Web Hooks

  1. You'll land on a page called Create a New Web Hook

  1. Name your Webhook — we suggest Hirevisor Integration.
  2. Input the Endpoint URL and Secret Key provided to you by Hirevisor, then make sure the Web hook type is “Candidate or Prospect rejected.”
  3. Press Create Web Hook.

Unfortunately, we have decided not to proceed with your candidacy for the current opening at {{COMPANY}}.

However, the team loved meeting with you, and would like to recommend your candiacy for the Hirevisor Network at Please complete your registration using the same email you used for the job application process at {{COMPANY}}.

Thanks again for your interest in {{COMPANY}} and we wish you luck in your search.

That's it! Your Greenhouse account and Hirevisor account can now talk to each other.

In Hirevisor:

Candidates that are shared from your ATS are emailed invites to join the platform that look like this in their inbox:

After candidates complete their registration, they will see an application history similar to the screenshot below populated with high level data about their previous application processes.

The Greyed out boxes are Application History values reported by companies, and are deactivated to prevent the Candidate from manually editing their Application History.

Candidates are also able to self report their own Job Interview / Job Application History as well.

As a recruiter, you have the ability to search through the candidate pool shared by other companies on the Hirevisor network. Hirevisor helps you source pre-qualified, actively jobseeking talent in a new way.
