Initiate an order
Once you’ve successfully configured your Sterling RISQ integration, you can start initiating orders directly from Greenhouse Recruiting.
To initiate the background check of a candidate, you’ll need to move the candidate to the configured Background Check stage created during the integration setup.
Note: If your organization would like to use a different stage name for the Sterling RISQ integration, reach out to your Sterling RISQ integration manager during the requirement scoping session to request changes.
After advancing the candidate to the Background check stage, a new order in Sterling RISQ is created with the order ID. The details of the case will be reflected on the Private tab within the candidate profile.

Frequently asked questions
Does background check information stay on a candidate’s profile permanently or are there cases where it will be deleted?
Each background check report is a standalone unit; Each report remains on record for 7 years. In some cases, it may be deleted earlier, either because deletion is required by applicable local law, or because the deletion is requested by the candidate or the end user of the report and Sterling RISQ is not subject to a legal or third-party obligation to retain the order.
Who is notified by Sterling RISQ when a background check is complete and how are they notified? Do you have example screenshots of this?
Email notifications can be set up in the AMY Awesome platform. In Greenhouse, to view the report, authorized Sterling users will be able to do so by accessing the completed report link in the private tab.
