OutScout's integration with Greenhouse Recruiting allows companies using OutScout as a sourcing partner to send candidate data, such as name, email, and CV from OutScout to Greenhouse Recruiting.

Set up the integration

Create an ingestion API key

To set up the integration, first create an ingestion API key in Greenhouse Recruiting. Follow the steps in this article to create your API key.

Once the key is created, provide it to OutScout.

Create an ISU

Next, create an integration system user (ISU) in Greenhouse Recruiting. An ISU is a user account created specifically for running an integration. Follow the instructions in this article to create a new ISU, and use the values below when configuring the account:

  • Name: OutScout integration
  • Email address: api+COMPANYNAME@outscout.io
  • Permissions: Job Admin

Under Job-Based Permissions, click Add.

In the Add and Remove Permissions window that appears, click Edit to the right of All Future Jobs. From the drop-down menu, select Job Admin: Standard.

Click Done, then click Save to create the account.

Use the integration

When you create a new position in OutScout, you can specify which Greenhouse Recruiting job ID the position should be linked to in Greenhouse Recruiting.

After you link the position between OutScout and Greenhouse Recruiting, candidates who accept an interview invitation in OutScout are automatically added as a candidate to the linked Greenhouse Recruiting job.
