SRA Screening’s integration with Greenhouse Recruiting allows clients to effortlessly incorporate SRA’s background screening assessments into their hiring workflows. This seamless connection streamlines the onboarding process, allowing employers to initiate and manage background checks directly within Greenhouse, enhancing efficiency and improving the candidate experience.

Create a Harvest API key

To configure the SRA Screening integration, you’ll need to create a Harvest API key. After creating the API Key, SRA Screening will have their integrations team configure the integration from their end using the information you have provided them.

Follow the steps in this article to create the key, and verify that the permissions below are selected when configuring the SRA Screening integration.

Credentials

In the Create New Credential box, make the following selections:

  • API Type: Harvest
  • Partner: SRA Screening or Unlisted Vendor
  • Description: SRA Screening Integration Harvest API Key

Permissions

Verify that the following permissions are selected for the SRA Screening integration:

  • Applications
    • GET: Retrieve Application
    • GET: List Applications
    • PATCH: Update Application
    • POST: Advance Application
    • POST: Move Application
    • POST: Reject Application
  • Candidates
    • GET: Retrieve Candidate
    • GET: List Candidates
    • POST: Add Note
    • PATCH: Edit Candidate
  • Custom Fields
    • GET: Get Custom Fields
  • Job Stages:
    • GET: Retrieve Job Stages
    • GET: List Job Stages
    • GET: List Job Stages for Job
  • Jobs:
    • GET: Retrieve Job

  • Tags
    • Remove Tage from candidate
    • GET: List tags applied to candidate

Create a webhook

Next, you’ll need to create a webhook. Follow the steps in this article to create your webhook. Use the values listed below to configure the webhook:

  • Name: A descriptive name for your integration. Most customers choose ‘SRA Screening integration’
  • When: Offer Created
  • Endpoint URL: The Endpoint URL provided by SRA Screening during your onboarding call.
  • Secret Key: The Secret Key provided by SRA Screening during your onboarding call.
  • Disabled?
    • Select No
  • Create Web hook.

Use the SRA Screening’s integration with Greenhouse Recruiting

From the candidate profile, Select “Move Stage” on active candidate

Select Offer. (The background check will be submitted after the offer is created in Greenhouse)

Create the offer and save.

After Creating the Offer, you will see a note stating that the candidate’s background check is in Process:

 

Applicant receives the email with link to Background Check Questionnaire

After Questionnaire is completed by applicant, a confirmation email is sent that verifies that the background check was received.

The applicant will also receive a confirmation email with a link to log into TazWorks and view their in-progress report.

Once the order is complete, you will see a note stating “Background Check Status: Background Check Completed. A link to the completed report will be added as a note.
