Sora is an HR automation tool that makes it easy for you to build and personalize workflows for onboarding, offboarding, and all the key moments in between. It works with your existing HR tools, like Greenhouse, so you can automatically send a welcome email, schedule a new manager training, or even deliver an anniversary cupcake to the right employee at the right time.
By integrating Greenhouse with Sora, you’re able to import a new hire right from Greenhouse, into Sora, and add them to your onboarding workflow, to begin sending automated emails, collecting necessary information, and assigning tasks.
Create a Harvest API key for the Sora integration
To configure the Greenhouse Recruiting / Sora integration, you'll need to create a Harvest API key.
Follow the steps in this article to create the key, and verify that the credentials and permissions below are selected when configuring the Sora integration.
Credentials
In the Create New Credential box, make the following selections:
- API type: Harvest
- Partner: Sora (optional)
- Description: Sora Harvest API key

- GET: Retrieve Candidates
- GET: List Candidates
Custom Fields
- GET: Get custom fields
Create a webhook
The next step in integrating Sora with Greenhouse Recruiting is to create a webhook. Follow the steps in this article to create your webhook. Use the values listed below to configure the webhook:
- Name: Sora integration
- When: The time that the event will be sent to Sora. Select the following options for this integration:
- Candidate has been hired
- Endpoint URL: The Endpoint URL provided by Sora
- Secret Key: The Secret Key provided by Sora
- Error recipient email: integration-errors@sora.co
- Disabled?: No
Provide the webhook to Sora
From your Sora homepage, navigate to Settings > Integrations > Greenhouse.
Paste the webhook into the Webhook Client ID field. Then, click Save.
Use the Sora integration with Greenhouse Recruiting
By default, after configuring your Greenhouse integration, Sora maps the candidates' “Name” and “Email” data fields from Greenhouse into Sora. However, by working with your Sora implementation expert, you are able to map any field or custom field in Greenhouse to an employee field in Sora.
With this integration, you are able to import a new hire right from Greenhouse into Sora and add them to your onboarding workflow.
