Note: This article applies to organizations that don't have either Greenhouse CRM or the prospects feature. If your organization doesn't have one of these features, profiles added to your Greenhouse Recruiting account via LinkedIn RSC are added as candidates.
Users at organizations with either Greenhouse CRM or the prospects feature should click here to learn about adding profiles via LinkedIn RSC as prospects instead.
Once the LinkedIn Recruiter System Connect (RSC) integration has been enabled for your organization, users who have connected their respective Greenhouse Recruiting user accounts to LinkedIn Recruiter can add candidates to jobs directly from their LinkedIn Recruiter accounts.
Export candidate from LinkedIn Recruiter to a job
Navigate to a candidate's profile from LinkedIn Recruiter and click the ellipsis icon.
Select Export to ATS from the dropdown menu.
Using the Export to ATS box, select your organization and workplace type. Then, search by job name or job ID and select the option from the dropdown.
Click Export when done.
The candidate is added to the job in your Greenhouse Recruiting account.
View the candidate imported from LinkedIn Recruiter
Click Candidates in Greenhouse Recruiting, then click on the name of the candidate you imported.
When you export a candidate using LinkedIn RSC, the candidate's Source displays as LinkedIn (Prospecting)
, with Who gets credit set as the person who exported the candidate.
The profile also includes a LinkedIn 1-click export
candidate tag. Read more about candidate tags here.
Navigate to the LinkedIn Tab to view the candidate's LinkedIn profile.
Note: Due to LinkedIn's scraping software policy, profiles created via LinkedIn RSC don't include the candidate's email address automatically. As a result, the candidate's LinkedIn profile may not be visible in Greenhouse Recruiting until an email address is manually added. Click here to learn more about linking the candidate's profile.
