Note: Users can only filter candidates for jobs where they hold Job Admin permissions.
Custom job fields allow your organization to customize your jobs to track relevant job data. For instance, you might want to track if a job is a backfill position. Moreover, you may want to see all candidates who are currently in your pipeline for all backfill positions.
In this article, we will cover how to filter candidates down by a custom job field by using the custom job field "Is this position a backfill?" as an example.
Note: Candidates can only be filtered by the following custom job fields Types: Single Select, Multi-select, Yes/No, and User
Filter candidates by custom job field
To start, click Candidates on your navigation bar.
From the Candidates page, navigate to the left-hand panel and open the Jobs filter settings. Click Filter By Job.
Using the Filter by Job dialog box, navigate to the left-hand panel and access the Custom Field drop-down menu. Select a custom field from the populated list.
Note: Only the following custom job fields Types: Single Select, Multi-select, Yes/No, and User will be included in the list.
Once you have selected a custom job field, navigate to the next field and select a value to filter by.
The right-hand panel will preview all the available jobs that will be searched based on the custom field and custom field value selected. Additionally, you can filter the list of jobs down further by other criteria or manually deselect jobs.
When you have finished, click Save.
The candidate list will be filtered according to the custom job field and value you selected.
