Your organization uses Greenhouse Onboarding to ensure every new hire has a great onboarding experience. As a manager, you play a critical role in your new hires' experience. Leverage Greenhouse Onboarding to connect with your incoming hires and prepare them for their new roles.
Update your profile information
An exciting part of a new hire’s onboarding process is their welcome experience, where they’ll get an introduction to you and the organization.
As a manager, you can upload a profile picture and complete your "About" section to help your new hire get to know you. This information will be included in your new hire's welcome experience email.
On your Greenhouse Onboarding homepage, click Profile under your name to navigate to your employee profile.
Update your profile picture
In your employee profile, click the pencil icon next to your initials.
Click Upload New to upload a photo from your computer. Click Save when you're done.
Complete your "About" section
In your employee profile, navigate to the Info tab and click Edit.
Scroll to the About field and provide more information about you. Use this space to help your new hire get to know you!
Click Save when you're done.
Your new hires will now be able to see your profile picture and "About" information in their welcome experience email.
Complete your new hire's fields
When a new hire is added to Greenhouse Onboarding and assigned to you, you may need to complete their employee profile.
If you need to fill out any profile fields for your new hire, you'll receive an email from Greenhouse Onboarding before your new hire's start date.
Click Fill Out Information to finish your new hire's employee profile in Greenhouse Onboarding.
On your Greenhouse Onboarding homepage, you can also scroll to My New Hires to see whether you have any new hires with missing fields.
Click Complete Missing Fields to complete this new hire's employee profile.
Complete your new hire's fields as needed. Click Save when you're done.
Complete tasks before your new hire starts
Tasks help you and your organization ensure that you have everything ready to go for your new hire to successfully onboard. Complete your assigned manager tasks on time to give your new hires the best onboarding experience.
You can find your assigned tasks under My Tasks on your homepage.
Click on any task in this section to see additional details or mark it as complete.
When a task is assigned, due, or overdue, Greenhouse Onboarding will send you a reminder email with quick links to view or complete the task.
You'll receive reminder emails for any overdue tasks every day for two months or until you complete the tasks.
Counter sign your new hire's forms
Greenhouse Onboarding helps your organization collect and sign E-Signature documents before your new hire's first day.
As a manager, you may be asked to counter sign a new hire's E-Signature documents. Greenhouse Onboarding will send an email requesting you to counter sign once a new hire has completed their signature.
Click Sign in your notification email when you're ready to counter sign.
You can also scroll to Documents to Sign on your Greenhouse Onboarding homepage to access any assigned E-Signature documents.
Click Needs Signing to begin counter signing your new hire's document.
Review your new hire's feedback
Feedback in Greenhouse Onboarding allows your new hires to candidly evaluate their onboarding experience. This provides your team with valuable, actionable insights that you can use to improve your organization's onboarding process.
As a manager, you'll receive a notification when a new hire has completed their feedback questions.
You can also view a full list of past responses on the New Hire Feedback Questions section of your homepage.
