A tracking link is a unique web link that candidates can use to apply for jobs. When a candidate applies through the specific tracking link, Greenhouse Recruiting keeps track of the candidates allows you to track the success of specific recruiting sources.
See the sections below for more information:
How do tracking links work?
A tracking link is is made up of two parts. The job post url links to the overall job posting. A source token is a combination of numbers and letters at the end of your url that uniquely identifies the link.
When you create a new tracking link, Greenhouse Recruiting will automatically add a new source token to the end of your job post URL.
Example: If you create a Tracking Link for your job board URL https://example.com/jobs, Greenhouse Recruiting will add the Source Token on the end of the URL to create a link that looks like this: https://example.com/jobs?gh_src=abc123.
Manage your custom sources
Before you can create a tracking link, the source must be defined in Greenhouse Recruiting. You can add your sources in the Configure menu.
