What is the Job Post Conversion report? How do I use it?

You might have the best sourcing strategy in the world, but it's not worth a thing if people get to your job board and don't apply. Luckily, you can use the Job Post Conversion report to figure out how well your job descriptions are selling your positions!

An extremely high conversion rate could tell you that the description is too generic, while a terribly low rate could tell you that the post is intimidating, boring, or just plain bad! You can AB test over time to craft the perfect message to maximize the number of dream candidates who apply!

How can this report be filtered?

The Job Post Conversion report can be filtered by Department and Office (located right next to your company name), as well as Job and Activity Date, which is the date the person viewed the page or applied to the job.

Note: Filtering by Open Jobs will only show you jobs that are open right now, not the jobs that were open during a specific date range. For example, setting the date filter to December 2014 and filtering by Open Jobs won't show you anything that was open in December but is now closed.

Note: This report will only collect data on candidates that applied directly from your job post. Any manual referrals or candidates entering GH through other means (such as Linkedin Limited Listings), etc will not be counted on this report.

If your team is currently using an API driven job board, this job post conversion report will not work for your team. This report will only track views and conversion for Greenhouse hosted job boards/posts.
