Aspect is an interview intelligence platform that automatically records interviews and generates human-level AI notes and summaries. Aspect frees your recruiters and hiring managers from the constraints of note-taking, enabling them to fully engage with your candidates.
Aspect's integration with Greenhouse Recruiting sends AI note tokers to Greenhouse scheduled interviews, then posts interview summaries on the candidate activity feed.
Set up the integration
Create a Harvest API key
First, create a Harvest API key in Greenhouse Recruiting. Follow the steps in this article to create the key, and verify that the permissions below are selected.
In the Create New Credential box, make the following selections:
- API type: Harvest
- Partner: Aspect or Unlisted Vendor
- Description: Aspect Harvest API Key
Verify that all the permissions for the following sections are selected for the API key:
- Job openings
- Departments
- Users
- Scorecards
- Applications
- Approvals
- Jobs
- Candidates
- Job posts
- Scheduled interviews
- Email templates
- Job stages
- Close reasons
- Offices
- Custom fields
- Education
- Activity feed
- Custom locations
- Offers
- Tags
- Custom field options
- Rejection reasons
- Prospect pool
- User roles
- EEOC
- Tracking links
- Sources
When finished, copy the Harvest API key to a secure location for use in the next step.
Enable on Aspect
Next, log in to Aspect and click Settings.
Note: In order to post interview summaries to the candidate activity feed, log in to Aspect with the same email address used with your Greenhouse Recruiting account.
Click Integrations.
Enter the API key generated in the previous step, and for the webhook secret, enter any value.
Click Update.
Click Sync to immediately sync jobs and candidates to Aspect.
Finally, copy the webhook secret and webhook endpoint for use in the next step.
Create webhooks
Create 4 webhooks in Greenhouse Recruiting using the information from Aspect. Follow the steps in this article to create your webhooks in Greenhouse. Use the values listed below to configure the webhooks:

When finished, the integration is set up and ready to use.
Use the integration with Greenhouse Recruiting
Once the integration is set up, an Aspect note taker will process your interview, and post the interview summary to the candidate's Activity Feed in Greenhouse Recruiting. Notes posted on the candidate's Activity Feed are created on behalf of the user who set up the integration with Aspect.
