UKG Ready by Joynd integration

Joynd is an integration-as-a-service provider that works with HR vendors to provide standard integrations.

Joynd's integration with Greenhouse Recruiting allows your organization to seamlessly add new hires from Greenhouse Recruiting to UKG Ready.

Set up the integration

Create a webhook in Greenhouse Recruiting

To set up the integration, first create a webhook. Follow the steps in this article to create the webhook. Use the values listed below to configure the webhook:

• Name: Joynd integration
• When: Candidate has been hired
• Endpoint URL: Paste the URL that will have been provided to you by the Joynd integration manager
• Secret Key: Joynd
• Error receipt email: Enter the email that you would like to use for error notifications

Click Create webhook, and you'll see a success message.

If the webhook fails, contact your Joynd integration manager.

Create custom job fields

Next, create custom job fields in Greenhouse Recruiting for the integration. Follow the steps in this article to create your custom job fields, and use the settings below to configure the fields:

Custom job field name	Definition	Settings
UKG Job Title	The title of the job, which will automatically update from UKG.	Field type: Single-select Values: Enter "UKG."
Hourly Rate	The hourly rate to pay hourly employees.	Field type: Number
Employee Type	The type of employee, like exempt, consultant, or full-time, which will automatically update from UKG.	Field type: Single-select Values: Enter "UKG."
Supervisor	The ID of the supervisor, which will automatically update from UKG.	Field type: Single-select Values: Enter "UKG."
Pay Type	How the employee is paid, which will automatically update from UKG.	Field type: Single-select Values: Enter "UKG."

Enable in UKG Ready

Log in to UKG Ready as an admin to add a new user.

Create a new user with a strong password. The user must have API access. Include "integration" in the name to easily distinguish it from other general users.

Next, navigate to Settings > Global Setup > Company Setup > Login Config, then scroll to API Keys at the bottom-right. Copy the API key to a secure location for user in a later step.

Next, navigate to Settings > Global Setup > Company Setup > Company Info, and scroll to find Company Short Name and Company ID. Copy this number. If yours isn't listed, reach out to the UKG Ready HelpDesk.

Copy and save your user information, API key, company short name, and company ID. Share them in a document or secure email with your Joynd integration manager.

Use the integration

Fields synced from UKG Ready to Greenhouse Recruiting

Once enabled, the following fields sync to Greenhouse Recruiting from the values in UKG Ready:

Fields synced from Greenhouse Recruiting to UKG Ready

Once enabled, when a candidate is marked as hired in Greenhouse Recruiting, candidate information will automatically be sent to Joynd, and the candidate will be processed into UKG Ready within 15 minutes. The following fields are synced from Greenhouse Recruiting to UKG Ready:

To re-sync a candidate to UKG Ready due to an error or change in status, unhire the candidate in Greenhouse Recruiting then hire them again.
