JobPixel makes it easier than ever to supercharge your talent brand with authentic video! Collect, organize, and share real videos from real people to increase candidate flow, improve candidate experience and reduce time to hire.

Enhance your job pages with an engaging video from your hiring manager telling applicants all about the position. Video job descriptions truly resonate with candidates and help you turn your hiring process into an engaging conversation.

Then, hear directly from candidates, in their own words, why they’d be a great addition to your team following their application submission. Skip the phone interview, identify candidate intent, accelerate your hiring, and identify the best fit candidate faster through their video introductions.

JobPixel integration with Greenhouse Recruiting allows you to do the following:

  • Use JobPixel as an assessment partner for providing and receiving candidate’s video introductions
  • Automatically create a JobPixel job post with video assignment from Greenhouse Recruiting webhooks
  • Use auto-embed feature to automatically add targeted videos to the Greenhouse Recruiting job description pages based on the job profile

Enable the JobPixel integration

To initialize your JobPixel integration for Greenhouse, reach out to integrations@jobpixel.com and request the following:

  • an API key for the JobPixel stage
  • Basic Auth credentials
  • a Secret Key for configuring a web hook that will be used for the Greenhouse Recruiting integration

Once you’ve received the details from JobPixel, follow the steps in this article to work with Greenhouse Technical Support and add the JobPixel stage to your interview plans. You can then complete the configurations in JobPixel and Greenhouse Recruiting for your desired use case(s).

Map job titles to videos in JobPixel

JobPixel uses webhooks to automatically assign videos to job postings from Greenhouse Recruiting. If you have JobPixel configured for post-application candidate assessments, JobPixel uses these video assignments for video introduction request invites.

Here we assign videos for the job titles. We use wild card patterns to match the job titles that are imported through the webhook.

You can use an asterisk (*) symbol to create a wildcard pattern. For example, *developer* will match to job titles like Software Developer, Senior Developer - Frontend, and so on.

You can create multiple patterns to attach videos to the corresponding job titles. For jobs that don't align with any existing wildcard patterns, you can also create a default video that posts to jobs that don't have a matching rule.

Configure your webhook

To integrate JobPixel with Greenhouse Recruiting, you’ll need to create a webhook. Follow the steps in this article to create your webhook. Use the values listed below to configure the webhook:

  • Name: JobPixel integration
  • When: Job Post Created, Job Post Updated
  • Endpoint URL: https://api.jobpixel.com/api/v1/integrations/greenhouse/job
  • Secret Key: reach out to integrations@jobpixel.com to get this.

Apart from the secret key, we use basic authentication for these webhook endpoints. Reach out to integrations@jobpixel.com if you have not already received your http auth credentials and secret key. Keep the password field blank.

Click Advanced settings to configure basic authentication username

Make sure webhook is not disabled and click Create Webhook. This activates the webhook. When you create or update the job post, it updates the job description based on the videos you configure in JobPixel.

Automatically embed videos on your public job description pages

To automatically embed these videos on your public job description pages, simply check the toggle under Enable Job Description Auto Embed on your Greenhouse configuration page in JobPixel.

Use the JobPixel integration with Greenhouse Recruiting to request candidate videos

Once the JobPixel integration is enabled for your organization, you will be able to add the JobPixel Video Introduction assessment as an interview stage. Please refer to the screenshot below.

You can send an assessment to a candidate by clicking the Send Test button next to the interview stage.

Select the appropriate test and the person who should grade the assessment, then click Send Test.

After it has been sent, an assessment’s status will display in Greenhouse Recruiting.

Once the candidate has submitted their video introduction, the Interview Kit will contain a link to view the submitted result in the JobPixel application.

Click JobPixel to see the report.

To see a candidate’s video introduction in JobPixel, click View Report .

After clicking View Report, you will be redirected to the JobPixel where you will see the video introduction the candidate has submitted.
