The Evidenced integration with Greenhouse Recruiting enables hiring teams to conduct interviews in Evidenced and submit interview decisions and feedback back into Greenhouse Recruiting. Candidates, jobs and team members are all automatically imported from Greenhouse Recruiting to Evidenced to enable a seamless workflow.
Create a Harvest API key for the Greenhouse Recruiting / Evidenced integration
To configure the Greenhouse Recruiting / Evidenced integration, you’ll need to create a Harvest API key.
Follow the steps in this article to create the key, and verify that the permissions below are selected when configuring the Evidenced integration.
Credentials
In the Create New Credential box, make the following selections:
- API Type: Harvest
- Partner: Evidenced (optional)
- Description: Evidenced Harvest API Key

Add your Harvest API key to your Evidenced account
Once you’ve generated your Harvest API key, head on over to your Evidenced organisation settings and paste your API key into the Harvest API Key box and click Save.
Create webhooks
Next, you’ll need to create several webhooks. Follow the steps in this article to create a webhook. Use the values listed below to configure each webhook:
- Name: Evidenced - Candidate has submitted application
- When: Candidate has submitted application
- Endpoint URL: The Endpoint URL provided by Evidenced
- Secret Key: The Secret Key provided by Evidenced
- Name: Evidenced - Candidate or Prospect updated
- When: Candidate or Prospect updated
- Endpoint URL: The Endpoint URL provided by Evidenced
- Secret Key: The Secret Key provided by Evidenced
- Name: Evidenced - Merged Candidate
- When: Merged Candidate
- Endpoint URL: The Endpoint URL provided by Evidenced
- Secret Key: The Secret Key provided by Evidenced
- Name: Evidenced - Delete Candidate

Use the Evidenced integration with Greenhouse Recruiting
Once your integration is set up, install the Evidenced Chrome Extension and you’re ready to start running your interviews in Evidenced.
Interviews scheduled in Greenhouse Recruiting with an Evidenced interview template will automatically include the link to an Evidenced interview. When the interview is complete, interviewers can submit their decision in Evidenced, which will automatically be sent back to Greenhouse Recruiting as a note in the candidate's Activity Feed.
