Create a Harvest API key for the Greenhouse Recruiting / Velocity Global integration
To configure the Greenhouse Recruiting / Velocity Global integration, you’ll need to create a Harvest API key.
Follow the steps in this article to create the key, and verify that the permissions below are selected when configuring the Velocity Global integration.
Credentials
In the Create New Credential box, make the following selections:
- API Type: Harvest
- Partner: Pebl
- Description: Pebl Integration Harvest API Key
Permissions
Verify that the following permissions are selected for the Velocity Global integration:

Click Save.
Greenhouse Recruiting will generate the API key and display it in a subsequent dialog box. Click Copy to save your API key to your clipboard. Please store the API key in a secure location for now. You will provide the API key to your Velocity Global Client Account Manager for further setup within Velocity Global’s software.
Once the API key is stored securely on your local computer, click I have stored the API Key to close the dialog box.
Note: You cannot access the full API key again after clicking I have stored the API Key. If you lose your API key and need to access it later, you must create a new API key, provide it to the integration partner, and then revoke access to the original key.
Use the Pebl integration with Greenhouse Recruiting
- The Pebl Sales Solutions team will assist you in setting up and configuring the integration.
- After completing the setup, the data will flow and sync between the two systems automatically.
- The integration uses Greenhouse Recruiting's webhook capability to trigger the data from your Greenhouse Recruiting platform into Pebl once a new offer is created or approved, depending on your webhook configuration.
- Pebl’s Sales Engineering team will work closely with you to ensure your Greenhouse Recruiting application is configured with the necessary fields for this integration to run smoothly. This may involve creating new custom fields.
- On the Offer, you will create a new “Pebl Sync” custom field to indicate the candidate is assigned for Pebl integration.
- The integration will only run for candidates marked for Pebl syncing.
- The candidate's data will be synced with the Pebl cloud-based software automatically, preventing any manual data errors.
- In addition, the integration will trigger the onboarding process in Pebl.
- Notification emails will be sent to your team and Pebl account managers based on the user's notifications preferences. These emails will be sent by Pebl not Greenhouse Recruiting.
