My company is rebranding, how do I change our domain?

If your company is looking to change your domain (ex. to, this can be done by following the steps below.


  1. Update Greenhouse organization name: The name of your organization that appears in the top left of the banner can be changed by editing the Organization Name field under Configure > Organization  
  2. Verify new email domain: This can be done under Configure > Email Settings 
    • Please consult with your IT team before removing any records from Greenhouse to ensure the correct records are being updated
  3. Contact Greenhouse Support to begin email address bulk update: Greenhouse Support can help update your users' email addresses in bulk.  One thing to note is that this process will not replace users' primary email address.  Instead, this will add the new email address as a secondary email.  
    • Support will send over a template for you to provide the new email addresses that correspond with the appropriate user
    • After the new email addresses have been updated, users can update their profiles so that the new email address is their primary address and/or remove their old email. This can be done on the My Info page
    • Note: Please do not remove the old email address if there are existing scheduled interviews tied to that address
  4. For SSO customers: Please contact Greenhouse Support at and specify if you're looking to update your SSO subdomain (eg., switching SSO providers entirely, or both
  5. Edit Job Board: The job board token for your job board can be updated under Configure > Job Board > URL.
    • Please consult with your web development team BEFORE changing the job board URL token, as this will impact your job board integration. Your web team will need to update the job board iFrame script, or update their requests to the job board API, when the token changes
  6. Update Tracking Links: If you are updating your careers page URL, we recommend also editing the Job Board (and Job Post URLs if applicable) to ensure that tracking links point to your new careers page. All tracking links (including existing links) will automatically update to point to your new careers page once this is updated.  This can be done by a user with Dev permissions under Configure > Dev Center > Configure Your Job Board
  7. A note about APIs: Except for the Ingestion API, all APIs will continue to function as before. However, if you are working with third-party partners who use the Ingestion API, you will need to tell those partners to update the "on-behalf-of" email used to make requests to their account if that user's email has changed to the new domain
