If your company has recently updated its domain, you'll also want to update your domain in Greenhouse Recruiting.
Tip: You may also want to update your Organization Name.
To take this step, click the Configure icon in the upper right-hand corner and select Organization. Click the Edit icon next to Organization Name to enter your company's new name and save.
Verify your domain
You can verify your new domain under the Configure icon. Click here for more information.
Note: Please consult with your IT team before removing any records from Greenhouse to ensure the correct records are being updated.
Update user email addresses in bulk
Greenhouse Technical Support can help update your users' email addresses in bulk. For more information, click here.
Note: Please do not remove the old email address if there are existing scheduled interviews tied to that address.
Update your SSO subdomain
Note: As of July 2022, customers can no longer add custom subdomains and can only remove the current custom domain and switch back to the generic URL. Please contact Greenhouse Technical Support at www.greenhouse.io/asksupport with any questions.
Update your job board URL and tracking links
The job board token for your job board can be updated under Configure > Job Board > URL.
Note: Please consult with your web development team before changing the job board URL token, since this will impact your job board integration. Your team will need to update the job board iFrame script, or update their requests to the job board API when the token changes.
If you are updating your careers page URL, we recommend also editing the Job Board (and Job Post URLs if applicable) to ensure that tracking links point to your new careers page. All tracking links (including existing links) will automatically update to point to your new careers page once this is updated. This can be done by a user with Dev permissions under Configure > Dev Center > Configure Your Job Board.
Considerations when using the Ingestion API
Except for the Ingestion API, all APIs will continue to function as before. However, if you are working with third-party partners who use the Ingestion API, you will need to tell those partners to update the "on-behalf-of" email used to make requests to their account if that user's email has changed to the new domain.
