Radancy's Employee Referrals integration with Greenhouse Recruiting allows automated job, rating, and application status imports from Greenhouse Recruiting to Employee Referrals. It also offers automated application/referral and talent scout feedback exports from Employee Referrals to Greenhouse Recruiting.
Set up the integration
Create a Harvest API key
First, create a Harvest API key in Greenhouse Recruiting. Follow the steps in this article to create the key, and verify that the permissions below are selected when configuring the key.
In the Create New Credential box, make the following selections:
- API Type: Harvest
- Partner: Radancy Employee Referrals
- Description: Radancy's Employee Referrals Harvest API Key
Verify that the following permissions are selected for Radancy's Employee Referrals integration:

- GET: List applications
- GET: Retrieve application
- PATCH: Update application
Candidates
- GET: Retrieve candidate
- GET: List candidates

Next, create 3 custom job fields in Greenhouse Recruiting. Follow the instructions in this article to create the custom job fields, and use the settings below to configure them:

Next, create a custom candidate field in Greenhouse Recruiting. Follow the instructions in this article to create the custom candidate field, and use the settings below to configure it:

Enable on Employee Referrals
Next, log in to your Employee Referrals Account as an Admin user.
Navigate to Account Preferences, then click Integrations. Click Services.
Find Greenhouse and click Install.
Click Connect and authorize the integration by logging to your Greenhouse Recruiting account. Click Authorize.
In the next step, enter the Harvest API key that you created earlier.
Check the box beside Enabled, and click Save.
Once complete, the integration is set up and ready to use.
Use the integration
Once enabled, all active jobs in Greenhouse Recruiting are automatically imported to your connected Employee Referrals account. Referred candidates will be exported from Employee Referrals to Greenhouse Recruiting after their completion in Employee Referrals as new applications so they are enriched with the feedback of your talent scouts. The recruiter rating and application status updates are automatically synchronized with Employee Referrals as soon as they have been conducted in Greenhouse Recruiting.
Job sync
Before a job can be synced with your Radancy Employee Referrals account it has to be published as a live job post on your job board in Greenhouse Recruiting. Job sync will import and update jobs from Greenhouse Recruiting to Radancy Employee Referrals, and it will also close jobs in Radancy when they're no longer live in Greenhouse Recruiting.
Referral / application export
As soon as a new referral arrives in Radancy Employee Referrals, a new candidate will be created in Greenhouse Recruiting. Radancy Employee Referrals will sync the following information on the new candidate profile:
- First name
- Last name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Social media links
- Attachments
Talent scout feedback
A talent scout can provide feedback for a referral to give the recruiter more information about the candidate. This information is added automatically to the Greenhouse Recruiting candidate profile via a note on the candidate Activity Feed.
Candidate status update
The integration syncs relevant status updates of the candidate, like rejected or hired, from Greenhouse Recruiting to Radancy Employee Referrals so your employees are always kept informed on their referrals.
