BarRaiser uses a smart interviewing platform, data-driven analytics, and support from hundreds of experts from leading companies around the world to make the interviewing process smarter and more effective.

The integration will allow human resource professionals who use Greenhouse's platform to seamlessly interview on the BarRaiser platform.

Enable the Greenhouse Recruiting / BarRaiser integration

Begin by navigating to the BarRaiser Partner platform. Click Integrations in the left-hand pane on the BarRaiser partner. Click on the Generate API key.

Once the API key(s) is generated, copy it.

With your API key(s) copied, reach out to Greenhouse Technical Support via this link to be connected on an email or chat requesting them for a SendSafely link on which the API from BarRaiser would be pasted and submitted.

Note: Do not send the API key in this initial email or chat.

The Greenhouse Technical Support team will respond with a SendSafely link for you to enter your API key.

A notification will be sent to the Greenhouse Technical Support team after you have entered your API key and they will email you to confirm that your API key has been set up in your account and your integration is enabled.

Note: To verify your identity, the Greenhouse Technical Support team may request you provide a Support Verification Code before adding the API key to your organization's account.

Add the BarRaiser stage to the job's interview plan

Once the Greenhouse Recruiting / BarRaiser integration is enabled for your organization, you will be able to add the BarRaiser assessment as an interview stage.

To do this for an existing job, navigate to a job ( All Jobs -> Job Name (Software dev engineer ). Then click on Job Setup from the Job navigation bar. From the Job Setup page, navigate to Interview Plan on the left-hand panel.

On the page’s top right-click + Add stage.

From the Add Stage dialog box, select the BarRaiser stage. When finished, click Add to apply the stage to the job's interview plan.

The BarRaiser stage is added to the job's interview plan as shown below.

Configure the BarRaiser interview stage

Once the stage has been added to the job's interview plan, click Edit Interview.

On the Edit BarRaiser Interview Kit page, use the provided dropdown menu to choose from the assessments you have previously set up in BarRaiser.

Select the appropriate assessment and assign at least one Greenhouse Recruiting user to grade/review submitted assessments.

Once all the edits are done scroll down on the page and click Save.

The Job role is now saved with the BarRaiser stage as a part of its evaluation process.

The candidates that are supposed to be evaluated with BarRaiser would now be needed to be added to the newly updated job role (for eg. Software Developer).

Note: Keep in mind that all configuration of the assessment itself, as well as the email template, will be completed by your BarRaiser Account Manager.

Send and review the test

When candidates are moved into the BarRaiser interview stage, Greenhouse Recruiting will display a Send Test link on their candidate profile.

Note: When you send a test from Greenhouse Recruiting, the interview instructions actually are sent by BarRaiser.

The status of the assessment will be viewable in Greenhouse Recruiting.

Once the candidate has submitted their test, their greenhouse activity feed will contain a link to view the submitted test on BarRaiser's platform. Click on the BarRaiser Button enclosed in the golden border.

Click on the link to see the candidate’s results in the BarRaiser score report.
