Litmus builds technical assessments rooted in a company's engineering context to evaluate how engineers perform on the tasks they would face on the job. Candidates use their native tools, and Litmus evaluates their AI usage and runs their submission against a grading harness.

Litmus' integration with Greenhouse Recruiting allows you to seamlessly add Litmus assessments to your job's interview plan, review scores and reports within the ATS, and sync decisions, jobs, and candidates from Greenhouse to Litmus.

Enable the integration

Follow the steps in this article to retrieve your API key from your Litmus representative and add the Litmus assessment stage in your interview plans. In Litmus, this key can be generated in Integrations > Greenhouse.

Litmus Integrations > Greenhouse screen for generating an API key

Copy the key from the dialog and store it securely. Litmus displays it once and can't display it again.

Once you've set up your interview plans and configured your take home test, you'll be able to send the test to candidates.

You can also allow hire, reject, and stage change decisions made in Greenhouse to reflect on Litmus by setting up this optional section. See this article for details.

To set up the Litmus and Harvest connection:

In Litmus, click Integrations from the left navigation and open Greenhouse.

Scroll to the Harvest API section.

Click Connect via Partner OAuth. Litmus sends you to Greenhouse's authorization screen.

Select Authorize using a service account if you are using an integration service user, then approve.
