Recruit41's integration with Greenhouse Recruiting allows you to seamlessly add Recruit41's AI-powered interview assessment to a job's interview plan. When a candidate reaches the assessment stage in Greenhouse, the AI interview is automatically initiated, and detailed results including scores and evaluation feedback are returned directly to Greenhouse Recruiting.
Enable the integration
To enable the Recruit41 integration, follow the steps below.
Contact your Recruit41 representative
Reach out to your Recruit41 account representative or email support@recruit41.com to request your Greenhouse integration API key. The Recruit41 team will provide you with a unique API key for your organization.
Follow the steps in this article to add the API key provided by your Recruit41 representative and enable the Recruit41 assessment partner integration in your Greenhouse account.
Configure your interview plan
Once the integration is enabled, add the Recruit41 assessment stage to your interview plans in Greenhouse. During setup, you will select the specific Recruit41 test (job position) to associate with the interview stage.
Once you've set up your interview plans and configured the assessment, you'll be able to send AI interview assessments to candidates directly from Greenhouse.
Use the integration with Greenhouse Recruiting
Once the Recruit41 integration is enabled for your organization, you will be able to add the Recruit41 AI interview assessment as an interview stage.
Send an assessment to a candidate
You can send an assessment to a candidate by selecting the Send Test button next to the Recruit41 interview stage on the candidate's profile in Greenhouse. The candidate will receive an email invitation from Recruit41 with instructions and a link to begin their AI-powered interview.
Track assessment status
Once the candidate completes the interview and the AI-generated results are available, the assessment status will be marked as Complete in Greenhouse Recruiting. No intermediate statuses are reflected — only the final Complete state.
View assessment results
Once the candidate has completed their AI interview, the Interview Kit in Greenhouse will display:
- Overall Score - A score from 0 to 100 based on the AI evaluation across all assessed criteria
- Detailed Feedback - A summary of the candidate's performance along with per-skill ratings and evaluations (e.g., Communication, Technical Skills, Problem Solving)
- View Report link - A direct link to the candidate's detailed profile in the Recruit41 platform, where you can review the full interview transcript, section-by-section analysis, and video recording
To see the candidate's full results in Recruit41, click View Report. This opens the Recruit41 candidate profile page where you can access:
- Complete interview transcript
- Section-by-section AI evaluation with individual skill scores
- Video recording of the interview
- Proctoring and integrity analysis

Can candidates retake the assessment?
By default, each candidate receives one assessment attempt per job. If a retake is needed, your Recruit41 account representative can assist with resetting the assessment.
What happens if a candidate gets disconnected during the interview?
Recruit41 automatically handles disconnections. Candidates can rejoin the interview and continue from where they left off. The system tracks all connection events for transparency.
How is the overall score calculated?
The overall score (0–100) is calculated by the AI based on the candidate's performance across all evaluated criteria defined in the interview plan. Each criterion receives an individual rating, and the overall score represents the aggregate assessment.
