Spotted Zebra's integration with Greenhouse Recruiting allows you to seamlessly add Spotted Zebra's assessment to a job's interview plan and manage user access.
Configure the Spotted Zebra integration
You will need to enable both the Harvest and Assessment integration to get the full functionality of the integration. Follow the steps in this article to retrieve your API key from your Spotted Zebra representative and add the assessment stage in your interview plans for the assessment integration.
Contact your Spotted Zebra Customer Success Manager to receive instructions about connecting your Greenhouse tenant with Spotted Zebra.
Spotted Zebra will work with you to enable the integration and send you a link where you can connect to Greenhouse using OAuth by signing into your Greenhouse tenant. This connection allows Spotted Zebra to retrieve hiring team information related to the job the candidate applied to.
Once you've set up your interview plans and configured your take home test, you'll be able to send the test to candidates. Spotted Zebra writes back assessment results using the native assessment flow of Greenhouse.
Use the Spotted Zebra integration
Once the Spotted Zebra integration is enabled for your organization, you will be able to add the Spotted Zebra assessment as an interview stage.
You can send an assessment to a candidate by selecting the Send Test button next to the interview stage. You can select from your list of active Spotted Zebra roles. The assessment instructions will be sent to the candidate by Spotted Zebra.
After it has been sent, an assessment's status will display in Greenhouse Recruiting and the candidate will be created in Spotted Zebra.
When you first send an assessment invite to a candidate in a job by selecting the relevant role, Spotted Zebra takes the details of hiring team members and gives users access to the role in Spotted Zebra.
- If a user doesn't already exist in Spotted Zebra, a limited access account is created for them automatically.
- The users are then added to the hiring team in Spotted Zebra.
- Spotted Zebra will continue to listen in on any new users added to the hiring team and ensure they are also added to the role team.
Note: If you select a different assessment when inviting another candidate, Spotted Zebra will not add the hiring team members to the newly selected role.
Once the candidate has submitted their assessment, the interview kit will contain the candidate's summary score and a link to view the assessment in Spotted Zebra.
