Greenhouse Recruiting’s integration with SV Academy allows for a quick and simple transfer of candidate information from the SV Academy Employer Portal to Greenhouse Recruiting, enabling you to streamline your recruiting process for SV Academy graduates.
Create an Ingestion API key for the SV Academy integration
To integrate with SV Academy, you'll need to create an Ingestion API key and provide it to SV Academy.
Follow the steps in this article for more information on creating an Ingestion API key. Once the key is created, provide it to SV Academy so they can set up the integration with Greenhouse Recruiting.
Enable the integration in SV Academy
Once you have created the Partner API key, you’ll need to copy/paste the full API key into your company profile on SV Academy.
In SV Academy, from your company profile, navigate to the Internal Information tab. Click Edit in the top-right corner.
At the bottom of the page, find the Greenhouse API Key field. Paste the Greenhouse Partner API key in this box, then click Save at the top-right corner of the page.

Jobs and Job IDs
If you would like to have candidates assigned to a specific job at the time of importing, you will need to add the job ID to your company profile.
- In SV Academy, on your company profile, navigate to the Internal Information tab. Click Edit in the top-right corner.
- At the bottom of the page, find the fields labeled Greenhouse SDR Job ID and Greenhouse CSA Job ID. Add the desired Greenhouse job IDs to these fields.
- To find a Greenhouse job ID, navigate to the job in Greenhouse and observe the resulting URL.
For example: app.greenhouse.io/dash/12345, where 12345 is the job ID.
Add Candidates
To add a candidate to Greenhouse Recruiting, navigate to a candidate profile in SV Academy and click Add to Greenhouse at the top of the page.
On the next page, select your company in the dropdown, then click Save.
The candidate will appear in Greenhouse Recruiting within a few minutes.
Troubleshooting and additional resources
If a candidate is not appearing after adding them from SV Academy, follow these tips:
Make sure your job ID is correct
The job ID can be found at the end of the URL of the job when viewing it in your Greenhouse Recruiting account (read more here). The job ID is different from the Requisition or Opening ID in Greenhouse Recruiting. If in doubt, leave the job ID field blank on your company profile, as you can always assign the candidate to a job after importing them to Greenhouse Recruiting.
Make sure your user email is correct
Your email login for the SV Academy portal must match your user email address in Greenhouse Recruiting. If it doesn’t, reach out to SV Academy so your login can be adjusted to match.
