Greenhouse Recruiting allows you to post free job ads on several partner boards, including Appcast's expansive network of job sites. Appcast's free ads can help expand your reach, allowing access to more candidates at no additional cost to your organization.
Unlike other free external job boards such as Indeed, which are enabled on a per-job basis through the Job Post Edit page, Appcast organic job posts are configured at the job board level in Greenhouse Recruiting. Once enabled, all live job posts on the job board will also appear on Appcast as organic job posts.
Enable Appcast organic job posts
To enable Appcast organic job posts, click the Configure icon in the top-right corner of the page and select Job Boards & Posts from the left-side panel.
Locate the job board where you want to set up the integration. Click the Ellipsis icon beside the job board and select Edit Board Settings from the dropdown menu.
On the Edit Your Job Board page, scroll to Allow candidates to apply directly from Appcast, and select Yes.
When finished, scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save.
Once enabled, all live job posts associated with the job board will be sent to Appcast. Candidates applying through these job posts will be added to Greenhouse Recruiting with Appcast in the source field.
Note: Once a job post is published, Greenhouse Recruiting sends the job post information to Appcast within 3 – 4 hours. From there, it can take up to 48 hours for the data to be processed and the job post to appear on Appcast's website.
Update or delete a job post on Appcast
To edit the content of a job post on Appcast or remove it entirely from Appcast's network, edit or delete the job post on Greenhouse Recruiting. Your changes will sync with Appcast the next time Appcast receives updates from Greenhouse Recruiting.
