Fairgo.ai’s integration with Greenhouse Recruiting allows users to screen candidates with AI powered live video interviews.
Use the fairgo.ai integration to connect with Greenhouse to fetch jobs and candidate applications. Jobs are used to automatically create interview questions from the posted content. Candidate resumes are evaluated against the job requirements.
When an assessment integration is set up, hiring managers send a test to a candidate. Fairgo will invite the candidates to a live video interview, where our AI will ask four questions relevant to the role. On completion the interview transcript will be used to evaluate the candidate for the role, and a score along with a deep link to fairgo.ai will be sent back to Greenhouse.
There are three steps to integrate Fairgo.ai with Greenhouse. The first step is to configure the integration, second to configure the assessment using the Fairgo Key, and third to configure webhooks.
Set up the fairgo.ai integration
In the fairgo.ai application click “settings” in the drop down menu from top right hand corner
Then select the Integrations tab in the settings
Then when you are on the integrations tab click the Add integration button
Then select “Greenhouse” from the platform drop down.
This will create an integration entry with a unique “Fairgo Key”, to complete the integration use “Click to configure” which will pop up the partner authorization dialog.
Once the user inputs their email address, they will be asked to authorize the scopes:
- List job posts
- List jobs
- List job hiring managers
- Create job notes
- List users
- List user emails
- List candidates
- List attachments
- List applications
- Reject applications
- Unreject applications
Once complete they will have a platform key populated with the refresh token. They can optionally choose to sync all open jobs, future jobs, or a specific job then hit Save.
You will then see the fairgo.ai integration and jobs will now get synchronized with fairgo.ai. The Fairgo Key is the unique key you’ll need to provide to Greenhouse support to setup Assessment and you will also use it when setting up webhooks
Configure an assessment stage
Follow the steps in this article to add the assessment stage in your interview plans.
Once the fairgo.ai’s integration is enabled for your organization, you will be able to add the fairgo.ai assessment as an interview stage.
Once fairgo.ai is set up as an assessment provider, users can add the Fairgo stage:
You can send an assessment to a candidate by selecting the Send Test button next to the interview stage. The assessment instructions will be sent by Fairgo.ai
After it has been sent, an assessment’s status will display in Greenhouse Recruiting.
Once the candidate has submitted their test, the Interview Kit will contain a link to view the submitted test in the fairgo.ai application.
To see a candidate’s results in fairgo.ai, click View Report .
Configure webhooks (optional)
To integrate fairgo.ai with Greenhouse Recruiting, you’ll need to create two webhooks. Follow the steps in this article to create your webhook. Use the values listed below to configure the webhook:
Webhook 1: Jobs
- Name: fairgo-job-post-updated
- When: Job Post Updated
- Endpoint URL: https://webhook.prod.fairgo.ai/v1/greenhouse/inbound
- Secret key: your “Fairgo Key” from the previous step
- Associated partner: Fairgo.ai
- Advanced Settings
- Username: your “Fairgo Key” from the previous step
Webhook 2: Candidate applications
- Name: fairgo-candidate-application
- When: Candidate has submitted application
- Endpoint URL: https://webhook.prod.fairgo.ai/v1/greenhouse/inbound
- Secret key: your “Fairgo Key”
- Associated partner: Fairgo.ai

- Username: your “Fairgo Key” from the previous step
Use the fairgo.ai integration with Greenhouse Recruiting by copying the Fairgo Key from the integrations tab from the settings.
By configuring these two integrations fairgo.ai will automatically fetch new jobs and candidate applications. Without the webhook, these records will still be fetched, but only every hour.
When a job is imported, job requirements and interview questions will be generated from the content, and used in the video interview assessment. They can be edited after being generated.
When a candidate is imported, the resume will be downloaded if available. This will be parsed and an evaluation will be available within the fairgo.ai platform based on job requirements.
