PerchPeek’s integration with Greenhouse Recruiting allows candidates requiring relocation support to be automatically initiated with PerchPeek, getting them immediate access to the support they need.

Create a webhook

To integrate PerchPeek with Greenhouse Recruiting, you’ll need to create a webhook. 

Before integrating please contact your account manager who will organise a call to establish your current process, and work with you to configure Greenhouse.

Once the integration call is complete, we will ask you to create the webhook.

Follow the steps in this article to create your webhook. Use the values listed below to configure the webhook:

  • Name: PerchPeek Integration
  • When: Candidate Has Been Hired
  • Endpoint URL: The Endpoint URL provided by PerchPeek
  • Secret Key: The Secret Key provided by PerchPeek

In order for PerchPeek to know which candidates require relocation assistance, a custom field should be created on the offer within Greenhouse.

An example of this custom field is shown below:

Once added a new field will be present on the offer:

By default, we receive some basic information such as the Candidate Name, Email address and Phone number. However in order to seamlessly begin the candidates relocation process, we encourage you to send more information about the candidate by adding some additional information to the offer such as where the candidate will be moving from and moving to.

The information to be shared will be established in the initial integration call, and PerchPeek will assist in guiding you on which fields should be added to the offer.

We will also configure your PerchPeek Pro application to receive the data provided by Greenhouse so that you can monitor the relocation process for your candidates.

Use the PerchPeek integration with Greenhouse Recruiting

When a candidate is marked as hired with “Relocation Assistance Required” set to “Yes”, PerchPeek will receive the candidate information and automatically complete the initiation form in PerchPeek Pro.

If all of the required information in your initiation form is provided, the candidate will be initiated automatically and PerchPeek will be notified to begin the process of relocating your candidate.

If there is additional information required that is not stored in your Greenhouse ATS but that is required for the initiation, the initiation form will be created in PerchPeek Pro with the information received from Greenhouse pre-populated, but will be set to “Requires Action”.


You can then open the form from here to provide the remaining information before submitting.
