Create a Harvest API key

To configure the  integration, you’ll need to create a Harvest API key. 

Follow the steps in this article to create the key, and verify that the permissions below are selected when configuring the integration.

Credentials

In the Create New Credential box, make the following selections:

  • API Type: Harvest
  • Partner: Benchmarket
  • Description: Benchmarket Harvest API Key

Go to app.benchmarket.ai and create an account (or log in).

During setup, select Greenhouse as your ATS.

Enter your Harvest API key; ignore the “Job board token” section.

Click Authorize — your Greenhouse data will begin syncing automatically.

Note: The initial data sync and audit can take 1–2 days. You’ll receive an email once your Benchmarket platform is ready to use.

Use the integration

Upload and analyze your data

After connecting to Greenhouse, Benchmarket automatically:

  • Ingests historical and current hiring data
  • Normalizes and maps data across jobs, recruiters, stages, and sources
  • Runs AI-powered analysis across your funnel

Once the sync is complete, your team will receive access to the platform with all data fully loaded.

After setup, your Greenhouse data will populate key sections within Benchmarket. These include performance overviews, AI-generated recommendations, and custom reporting tools. The integration allows teams to analyze funnel metrics, recruiter activity, and job performance—all without needing to manually export data from Greenhouse.

  • Benchmarket does not write, update, or delete any Greenhouse data
