In addition to your working hours, you can set preferred meeting times to help your team schedule interviews at times that work best for you. Adding preferred meeting times gives your team more context about your availability without blocking off your calendar completely.
To set your preferred meeting times, click your initials in the top right hand corner of any page of Greenhouse.
Click Working hours.
Scroll to the Preferred meeting times section and check the box to show the calendar.
Click and drag to add availability. Greenhouse doesn’t set preferred meeting times by default.
Your preferred meeting times must fall within your working hours. If you haven’t customized your working hours, they’ll default to 9 AM – 5 PM.
When your team uses automated scheduling to set up interviews, any times outside of your preferred meeting hours will be marked as less ideal and ranked lower in the suggestions. Unlike working hours, your team can still choose to schedule interviews during your preferred times.
The more preferred times you add, the easier it is for your team to find options that work for you. To give an even fuller picture of your availability, you can also mark specific times as “available” or “busy” when setting your interview availability.
