Pillar’s interview intelligence is your coach at every stage of interviewing, so your team follows the process, collaborates well, and hires a stellar teammate. The Greenhouse/Pillar integration will allow Pillar to join your interviews, giving you real-time interview coaching and automatically capturing key interview moments to analyze and share.
Greenhouse Recruiting’s integration with Pillar allows Pillar to automatically join your interviews scheduled via Greenhouse.
Create a Harvest API key for the Pillar integration
To configure the Greenhouse Recruiting / Pillar integration, you'll need to create a Harvest API key.
Follow the steps in this article to create the key, and verify that the credentials and permissions below are selected when configuring the Pillar integration.
Credentials
In the Create New Credential box, make the following selections:
- API type: Harvest
- Partner: Pillar
- Description: Pillar Harvest API key
Permissions
Verify that the following permissions are selected for the Pillar integration:
- Applications
- Select all
- Candidates
- Select all
- Job Openings
- Select all
- Job Posts
- Select all
- Job Stages
- Select all
- Jobs
- Select all
- Scheduled Interviews
- Select all
- Scorecards
- Select all
- Users
- Select all
When finished, click Update.
Finish setup in Pillar
After you created your API key, navigate back to Pillar to complete the integration process.
Click on your user avatar in the top right corner of the page, then click Settings.
Navigate to the Greenhouse page under Integrations.
Note: You must be an admin in your Pillar Organization to access this page.
Paste your API Key into the Harvest API Key text box and click Save.
After saving the API key, select which roles you would like to pull into Pillar from Greenhouse Recruiting. You can choose Import all jobs to send all the roles or Choose jobs individually to select which roles you would like to capture using Pillar.
Interviews for the selected roles will be automatically captured on Pillar, and you will be able to see candidate and role information in the Pillar interface. Unselected roles will not be captured, and you will not see these roles or the candidates in Pillar.
Use the Pillar integration
To capture your interviews in Pillar, follow the standard scheduling workflow in Greenhouse Recruiting.
After selecting a time for the interview, make sure to Add Video Conferencing and then select Zoom. Greenhouse Recruiting will generate a Zoom link and Pillar will join the meeting automatically when it’s time.
