Clearspeed enables you to automatically assess your entire candidate pool using Clearspeed's automated questionnaire. With PreCheck by Clearspeed, you can have confidence the candidates you add to your shortlisted pool have the skills and experience they have represented in their applications and resumes.

Enable the Greenhouse Recruiting / Clearspeed integration
To start, contact your Clearspeed representative to request your API key. Once you have received your API key, click here to open a ticket with the Greenhouse Support team.
Note: Do not send the API key in this initial email.
The Greenhouse Support team will respond with a SendSafely link for you to enter your API key. A notification will be sent to the Greenhouse Support team after you have entered your API key and they will email you to confirm that your API key has been set up in your account and your integration is enabled.
Note: To verify your identity, the Greenhouse Support team might request you provide a Support Verification Code before adding the API key to your organization's account.
Add Clearspeed stage to job's interview plan
Once the Greenhouse Recruiting / Clearspeed integration is enabled for your organization, you will be able to add Clearspeed reference checks as an interview stage.
To do this for an existing job, navigate to a job (All Jobs > job name) and click Job Setup from the job navigation bar. From the Job Setup page, navigate to Interview Plan on the left-hand panel.
On the subsequent page, click + Add a Stage.
From the Add Stage dialog box, select the Clearspeed stage. When finished, click Add to apply the stage to the job's interview plan.
Configure the Clearspeed stage
Once the stage has been added to the job's interview plan, click Edit. Use the provided dropdown menu to choose reference checks you have previously set up in Clearspeed.
Select the appropriate reference check and assign at least one Greenhouse Recruiting user to grade/review submitted reference checks. When finished, click Save.
Note: Keep in mind that all configuration of the reference check itself, as well as the email template, must be completed in Clearspeed.
Send and review the test
When candidates are moved into the Clearspeed interview stage, Greenhouse displays a Send Test link.
Note: When you send a test from Greenhouse Recruiting, the interview instructions actually are sent by Clearspeed.
Click Send Test and confirm the right reference check and grader are selected. After reviewing, click Send Test to send the PreCheck invitation to the candidate.
The status of the reference check is viewable in Greenhouse Recruiting.
Once the candidate has invited all their references, and all references have responded to the survey, the Interview Kit will contain a report holding the most important information about your candidates as well as a link (View Report) to view the candidate’s reference check profile in Clearspeed.
