HiBob is a cloud-based global HR platform that enables your organization to manage employee data and automate HR tasks. Bob's recruitment integration with Greenhouse Recruiting allows users to export candidate data to Bob when a candidate is marked as hired in Greenhouse Recruiting.
Set up the integration
The Bob recruitment integration with Greenhouse Recruiting allows users to export candidate data to Bob when a candidate is marked as hired in Greenhouse Recruiting. The following candidate fields are mapped between Bob and Greenhouse Recruiting:

After connecting the integration, you can customize data mapping in the integration settings on the Bob platform.
Note: Candidate offer documents are automatically added to a confidential documents folder on Bob.
To include additional custom fields, your customized Bob fields should have the same custom field name used in Greenhouse Recruiting. Applicant, candidate, job, and offer custom fields are supported. However, long and short-text field types aren't supported.
Calculated Bob fields aren't supported either, even if the custom field in Greenhouse Recruiting has the same name. For instance, you can't map the weekly hours field in the employment table in Bob because it's a calculated field.
Enable on Bob
Log in to Bob, and select Settings > Integrations on the left.
Click Recruitment.
On the Greenhouse tile, click Connect.
Click Create key and webhook.
Click Copy link next to the endpoint URL and secret key fields. Save the information to enter in Greenhouse Recruiting in the next step.
Create a webhook
Next, create a webhook in Greenhouse Recruiting. Follow the steps in this article to create your webhook. Use the values listed below to configure the webhook:
- Name: Bob integration
- When: Candidate has been hired
- Endpoint URL: The endpoint URL provided by Bob in the previous step
- Secret Key: The secret key provided by Bob in the previous step
Once complete, the integration is configured and ready to use.
Use the Bob integration with Greenhouse Recruiting
Add a new hire to Bob
When a candidate is marked as hired in Greenhouse Recruiting, you'll be sent an email from Bob. Click Complete the hiring process in the email.
You'll also get an in-app notification in Bob. Click the Bell icon at the top-right of the home page to complete the hiring process.
The newly hired candidate's details will be pushed to Bob when you complete the action in the email or in-app. You'll be directed to Bob with Add a new hire open. Select a new hire template and click Start. Complete the add new hire process in Bob.
Note: New hire candidate attachments are synced from Greenhouse Recruiting and stored in the employee's confidential documents folder in Bob.
