Wurk integration

Wurk is the leading HR and payroll platform built for the cannabis industry. With Wurk, businesses can manage payroll, HR, timekeeping, employee scheduling, and tax compliance in one intuitive system. Wurk allows businesses to provide employees with consistent and reliable paychecks through transparent relationships with banks and financial institutions.

Greenhouse Recruiting's integration with Wurk allows a cannabis organization to quickly and easily move a hired candidate from Greenhouse Recruiting into the Wurk Human Capital Management (HCM) system.

Wurk integration overview

The integration with Wurk requires minimal customization in order to properly function. To get started, please contact your Wurk Account Manager. The Wurk team will address cost, benefits, and discovery questions during the call.

Once configured, the integration will seamlessly transfer any candidate data that is marked as hired in Greenhouse Recruiting into the Wurk System as a new employee. Employees in the Wurk system will be created using the information that is stored within the Greenhouse Recruiting software.

The employee can then begin the onboarding process within the Wurk system. Employee records are created in a pending status so they can be taken through onboarding and any organizational processes before being given full access to the system.

Create a Wurk user in Greenhouse Recruiting

The Wurk development team will need admin access to your Greenhouse Recruiting account for the duration of the implementation and testing period. The Wurk development team will provide you with an email address that can be used to create this user.

To create a new user, click the Configure icon on your navigation bar, then click Users on the left.

Click + New Users.

From the Add New Users page, add the email address provided to you by the Wurk development team. Select Site Admin for the permission level.

In the User-Specific Permissions section, find the Developer permissions and check the box for Can manage ALL organization's API Credentials.

When finished, click Save.

Once the Wurk development team receives access to this user account, they'll complete the remaining steps in this article to enable the Wurk integration.

Wurk integration mapping

Below you'll find the mapping from Greenhouse Recruiting into the Wurk HCM platform. These are the standard mappings available within the integration. You can select all of the fields to be included or a portion of the fields based on your organization's needs.

Create a custom job field for the Wurk integration

To create a custom job field, the Wurk development team will navigate to the Configure icon on your navigation bar, then click Custom Options on the left.

Click Jobs, then click Add Field.

Enter the following details:

• Name: Company EIN
• Type: Single-select
• Options: Enter one value on a separate line for each EIN within your organization using the format EIN Name – EIN Number. As your organization grows, you can edit the custom job field to add additional EINs.
• Expose in Job Board API: Check the box

When finished, click Save.
