Greenhouse Recruiting’s integration with Flo Recruit allows the transfer of candidates’ data (name, email, resume, answers to qualifying questions, events and feedback from your employees) from Flo Recruit into Greenhouse Recruiting. In this article, we will cover how to:

Configure User Setup Permissions in Greenhouse Recruiting

In order to enable the Greenhouse/Flo Recruit integration, you will need the developer permission Can manage ALL organization’s API Credentials.

Contact a Greenhouse user in your organization with Site Admin level permissions with the additional user-specific permission Can edit another user's advanced permissions to apply the API credential management permission to your account. Have the user with Site Admin level permissions edit your user account's permissions by navigating to the Configure icon configure.png > Users > Your Name.

The user with Site Admin level permissions should navigate to the Permissions panel on your user page and expand the Developer Permissions dropdown menu.

Select Can manage ALL organization’s API Credentials so that a check is in the checkbox. When finished, click Save.

Repeat as necessary for any other user that should have access to set up the integration.

Retrieve User ID

Flo Recruit will need a Greenhouse Recruiting User ID to associate with the data.

Note: If your organization has a general user (like recruiting@) instead of a specific person (like jane@), we suggest you use the general user so that if the specific user ever leaves the organization, the integration remains intact.

To find a Greenhouse Recruiting user's User ID, have a user with Site Admin permissions click the Configure configure.png icon in the upper right-hand corner and select Users from the left-hand panel.

Click Export to Excel. A spreadsheet will be downloaded onto your computer.

Open the Excel file and navigate to the User ID column. Select a user from the column that will be associated with any data pushed from Flo Recruit to Greenhouse Recruiting and copy down their User ID.

Note: If you would prefer to create a new user specifically to be associated with data pushed from Flo Recruit to Greenhouse Recruiting, follow the steps linked here.

Create a Harvest API Key for the Greenhouse/Flo Recruit Integration

To create a Harvest API key for the integration, click on the Configure icon configure.png in the upper right-hand corner. Navigate to Dev Center on the left-hand panel.

From the Dev Center page, click API Credential Management.

From the API Credential Management page, click Create New API Key to generate the API key for Flo Recruit.

From the Create new credential dialog box, give your API key a name and select Harvest from the Type dropdown menu. When finished, click Create.

On the Manage API Key Permissions page, select Candidates. When finished, click Update.

Navigate to your newly created Harvest API key for Flo Recruit. Click Copy.

To finalize your Greenhouse Integration with Flo Recruit, please fill out the form located here. You will need your API Key & User ID.

Select Candidates and Integrate Their Data from Flo Recruit into Greenhouse Recruiting

In Flo Recruit, go to your candidate database. Select the candidates you want to integrate into Greenhouse Recruiting. Go to the Export Options dropdown and select Export Selected Candidates to Greenhouse.

Access Flo Recruit Data in Greenhouse Recruiting

Candidate data for candidates imported via the integration will be visible on the candidate profile. The candidate's email and resume will be associated with their profile and registered events and answers to qualifying questions will be included as candidate tags.

Feedback from your employees will be listed under the candidate's Activity Feed. This data will include the name of the employee who left the feedback, event title and date, rating, and comments.
