Every Greenhouse Recruiting user account has at least one associated email address that is used for logging into the system and for email communication. In this article, we will cover how a Greenhouse Recruiting user can update the email address(es) associated with their own user account.

Primary vs Secondary Email Addresses Overview
For any given Greenhouse Recruiting user account, we support a single primary email address and one or more secondary email addresses (non-primary email addresses). Please refer to the below chart regarding how primary and secondary email addresses are used in Greenhouse Recruiting:

Add Email Address to Own User Account
Click Hi [Your Name] in the upper right-hand corner, then select Account Settings from the dropdown menu.
On the Account Settings page, navigate to the Personal Information panel and click Edit.
On the Edit Personal Information page, click Add another email.
Use the provided field to input another email address. Navigate to the bottom of the page and click Save.
Greenhouse Recruiting will send a verification email to the provided email address. Click the verification link included in the email and input your password on the subsequent page to verify the email address.
Note: If a non-primary email address is ever edited, Greenhouse Recruiting will send an additional verification email to verify the edited email address.
Edit Primary Email Address
To change the primary email address associated with your user account, navigate to the Personal Information page on your account (Hi [Your Name] > Account Settings > Personal Information panel > Edit).
From the Email section, click the radio icon under the Primary column inline with the email address that will be the primary email address for the account.
When finished, navigate to the bottom of the page and click Save.
