Bryq provides combined cognitive and psychometric assessment. After candidates complete the Bryq assessment they are ranked on how well they fit the specific job role and your company – making candidate filtering better and faster.
Greenhouse Recruiting's integration with Bryq allows you to seamlessly add Bryq’s assessment to a job's interview plan. In this article, we will cover how to:
- Enable the Greenhouse/Bryq Integration
- Add Bryq Stage to Job’s Interview Plan
- Configure the Bryq Stage
- Send and Review the Test
Enable the Greenhouse/Bryq Integration
You can find your API key in Bryq under Company Settings – Integration – greenhouse. If you have any problems locating your API key, simply email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Once you have your API key, click here to open a ticket with Greenhouse.
Note: Do not send the API key in this initial email. API Keys allow access to sensitive data and must be kept secret. If an API Key is shared in an email and your email is intercepted by a malicious third party or your email account is hacked, the hacker would be able to view and access your API Key. For this reason, we require API Keys to be shared securely using SendSafely, Greenhouse’s secure data transfer platform.
The Greenhouse Support Team will respond with a SendSafely link for you to enter your API key. A notification will be sent to the Greenhouse Support Team after you have entered your API key and they will email you to confirm that your API key has been set up in your account and your integration is enabled.
Add Bryq Stage to Job’s Interview Plan
Once the Greenhouse/Bryq integration is enabled for your organization, you will be able to add the Bryq assessment as an Interview stage.
To do this for an existing job, navigate to a job (All Jobs>Job Name) and click Job Setup from the Job navigation bar.
From the Job Setup page, navigate to Interview Plan on the left-hand panel. Scroll down the page and click + Add a Stage.
From the Add Stage dialog box, select the Bryq stage. When finished, click Add to apply the stage to the job's interview plan.
Configure Bryq Stage
Once the stage has been added to the job's interview plan, click Edit. Use the provided drop-down menu to choose assessments that you have previously set up in Bryq.
Select the appropriate assessment from those created in Bryq.
Don’t forget to assign at least one Greenhouse user to review submitted assessments.
The remaining fields are not relevant to Bryq assessments.
When finished, click Save.
Note: Keep in the mind that all configuration of the assessment itself, as well as the email template, will need to be done in Bryq
Send and Review the Test
When candidates are moved into the Bryq interview stage, Greenhouse will display a Send Test link.
Note: When you send a test from Greenhouse, the interview instructions are actually sent by Bryq.
Simply click on the Send Test link next to Bryq.
In the pop-up that appears you can:
- Confirm the email address of the candidate
- Select which assessment the candidate will participate it. While the Bryq assessment is universal, the assessment is always graded based on the specific job profile. You can create new assessments in Bryq.
- Assign a grader to the test. The graded will be notified to review Bryq results and determine next steps for the candidate.
Once done simply click on the “Send Test” button.
The status of the assessment will be viewable in Greenhouse:
Once the candidate has submitted their test, the status will be updated accordingly:
Click on the Bryq icon above, will take you to the Interview Kit.
In the Interview Kit you can see the detailed candidate scores. Score is the overall match of the candidate, composed of the Cognitive Match and Personality Match scores.
You are also shown the details of the Cognitive scores.
The results are much easier to read, if you click on the View Report link
After you click on the Interview Kit on the candidate’s profile, you’ll be taken to a page where the URL is available to view the test results on Bryq.
Here you can see the detailed candidate results and how well the candidate matches the specific position.
You can also visit the assessment itself, to review all candidates that have taken the assessment, ranked by their match score.
Please consult your Bryq documentation on how to interpret the results and how to conduct more efficient interviews using the candidate results.
Please view the FAQ section on our website or contact email@example.com for troubleshooting assistance regarding the integration.
