- Authenticate Greenhouse/Planted Integration
- Connect your Planted Jobs to Corresponding Greenhouse Jobs
Configure User Setup Permissions in Greenhouse Recruiting
In order to enable the Greenhouse/Planted integration, you will need the developer permission Can manage ALL organization’s API Credentials.
Contact a Greenhouse user in your organization with Site Admin level permissions with the additional user-specific permission Can edit another user's advanced permissions to apply the API credential management permission to your account. Have the user with Site Admin level permissions edit your user account's permissions by navigating to the Configure icon > Users > Your Name.
The user with Site Admin level permissions should navigate to the Permissions panel on your user page and expand the Developer Permissions dropdown menu.
Select Can manage ALL organization’s API Credentials so that a check is in the checkbox. When finished, click Save.
Repeat as necessary for any other user that should have access to set up the integration.
Generate a Partner API Key for Greenhouse/Planted Integration
To create a Harvest API key for the integration, click on the Configure icon in the upper right-hand corner. Navigate to Dev Center on the left-hand panel.

Here you will be asked for the Greenhouse Partner API Key that was created for Planted and the email address of the Greenhouse User who created it.
Copy and paste the API Key from your Greenhouse account.
Enter the email address listed under Created by and save it to your Planted account .
Once you have saved both the Partner API and Greenhouse User Email Address in Planted, click Connect. Planted will check your authentication credentials.
Connect your Planted Jobs to Corresponding Greenhouse Jobs
Once Greenhouse is successfully connected with Planted, you will need to connect your existing Planted jobs to their corresponding Greenhouse jobs to sync candidate data and statuses. There are two different ways to do this:
Connect multiple Planted jobs at once from your Planted Greenhouse ATS Integration page.
Connect individual Planted jobs from their corresponding Job Details pages
If you do not have any existing Planted jobs, first create a job in Planted and then connect it to the corresponding Greenhouse job.
Be sure to check out the Activity Feed for each candidate in Greenhouse to see a copy of their Planted Q&A answers as well as a link to their application in Planted where you can find additional information.
