Greenhouse Recruiting's integration with Google Calendar enables your organization to see interviewing availabilities and schedule, update and delete interviews from calendars.

Once the integration is authorized, you'll be able to schedule with Google Calendar where you have permission to Make changes to events.

You can enable Google Calendar using either of the methods below, depending on your Greenhouse Recruiting permission level.

Note: This integration links a single Greenhouse Recruiting user account to a single Google account. Every user in Greenhouse Recruiting who wants to use the Google Calendar integration must enable Google Calendar following the process outlined here.

Enable Google Calendar via the Integrations page (for Site Admins and Job Admins)

Site Admins and Job Admins can enable Google Calendar via the Integrations tab.

Click the Integrations tab at the top of the page.

On the Integrations & Partners page, search for "Google Calendar" in the search box in the top right corner of the page. Click Google Calendar in the results.

In the pop-up window, click Connect.

Choose a Google account to connect to Greenhouse Recruiting.

On the next page, click Allow to give Greenhouse Recruiting permission to access your Google Calendar.

Enable Google Calendar via the Account Settings page

All Greenhouse Recruiting users, including Basic users, can enable Google Calendar via the Account Settings page. (Hi dropdown > Account Settings)

On the Account Settings page, find the Calendars section on the right side of the page. Click Connect to Google.

On the next page, click Allow to give Greenhouse Recruiting permission to access your Google Calendar.

Troubleshoot Google Calendar

Sometimes, you may not see the option to add video conferencing or click Send invites on the final scheduling step. This error typically indicates an incorrect setup with your default Greenhouse Recruiting scheduling calendar.

To correct the default scheduling calendar, follow the steps below.

Go to the Candidates page, then click on the candidate who requires scheduling.

Click Schedule Interview in the candidate's current stage.

On the Scheduling page, click the Settings icon in the top right corner.

In the Settings pop-up window, ensure your Calendar Type is set to Google, then select your calendar from the Calendar Name dropdown.

Click Save.

The selected calendar will be your default calendar when scheduling candidates in the future.
