Greenhouse Recruiting's integration with Google Calendar enables your organization to see interviewing availabilities, and schedule, update, and delete interviews from calendars where users have appropriate permissions.

Once the integration is authorized, you'll be able to schedule with Google Calendar where you have permissions to Make changes to events.

You can enable Google Calendar using either of the methods below, depending on your Greenhouse Recruiting permission level.

Note: This integration links a single Greenhouse Recruiting user account to a single Google account. Each user in Greenhouse Recruiting who wishes to use the Google Calendar integration must enable Google Calendar following the process outlined here.

Enable Google Calendar via the Integrations page

Job Admin or Site Admin on Greenhouse Recruiting can enable the Google Calendar via the Integrations tab.

From any Greenhouse Recruiting page, click the Ellipsis Ellipsis icon icon from your navigation bar, and select Integrations from the dropdown menu.

Search for Google Calendar in the available field, and select Google Calendar from the results.

Click Connect

Sign in to your Google account using the prompts.

When Google asks you to provide permissions to Greenhouse Recruiting, click Allow.

Google Calendar is now enabled for your Greenhouse Recruiting account!

Enable Google Calendar via the Account Settings page

All Greenhouse Recruiting users, including Basic users, can enable the Google Calendar via the Account Settings page.

Select Hi [Name] from the top of any Greenhouse Recruiting page, then click Account Settings from the drop-down menu.

Scroll to the Calendars pane on the right-side of the page, and click Connect to Google.

Sign in to your Google account using the prompts.

When Google asks you to provide permissions to Greenhouse Recruiting, click Allow.

Google Calendar is now enabled for your Greenhouse Recruiting account!

Troubleshoot Google Calendar on Greenhouse Recruiting

Sometimes you may not see the option to add video conferencing or click Send invites on the final scheduling step. This error typically indicates an incorrect setup with your default Greenhouse Recruiting scheduling calendar.

To correct the default scheduling calendar, try these steps:

1. From the All Candidates page, navigate to a candidate profile who currently requires scheduling.

2. Click Schedule Interview on the candidate profile.

3. On the Scheduling page, click the Settings Interview Settings icon icon at the top-right.

4. In the Settings pop-up, ensure your Calendar Type is set to Google, and select your Calendar Name from the drop-down menu.

5. Click Save.

These settings will dictate the default scheduling calendar to be used when scheduling candidates on Greenhouse Recruiting.

You can continue scheduling the candidate as normal!
