Note: On October 21, 2021, we began deprecating the Interviewer permission level as the final step in our simplified interviewing permissions update. If you do not see the Interviewer permission level available in Greenhouse Recruiting, your organization’s account has been updated already, and references in this article to the Interviewer permission level are no longer applicable.
User-specific permissions allow your organization to grant additional privileges to individual users that fall beyond those included in their permission level (Basic, Job Admin, Site Admin).
For information about the user-specific permissions available for each permissions level, click the links below:
- Site Admin User-Specific Permissions
- Job Admin/Interviewer User-Specific Permissions
- Basic User-Specific Permissions
To add user-specific permissions to a Greenhouse user, click the Configure icon in the upper right-hand corner and navigate to Users on the left-hand panel.
Select a Greenhouse user profile from the subsequent list.
Navigate to the User-Specific Permissions panel on the Edit User Profile page. Click the permission(s) that will be added to the user.
Note: The user-specific permissions listed are dependent on the permission level (Basic, Job Admin, Site Admin) assigned to the user.
Click Save when finished.
