Configure User Setup Permissions in Greenhouse Recruiting
In order to enable the Greenhouse/reThinkData integration, you will need the developer permission Can manage ALL organization’s API Credentials.
Contact a Greenhouse user in your organization with Site Admin level permissions with the additional user-specific permission Can edit another user's advanced permissions to apply the API credential management permission to your account. Have the user with Site Admin level permissions edit your user account's permissions by navigating to the Configure icon > Users > Your Name).
The user with Site Admin level permissions should navigate to the Permissions panel on your user page and expand the Developer Permissions dropdown menu.
Select Can manage ALL organization’s API Credentials so that a check is in the checkbox. When finished, click Save.
Create Job Board API Key for Greenhouse/reThinkData Integration
To create a Harvest API key for the integration, click on the Configure icon in the upper right-hand corner. Navigate to Dev Center on the left-hand panel.
From the Dev Center page, click API Credential Management.
From the API Credential Management page, click Create New API Key to generate the API key for reThinkData.
From the Create new credential dialog box, give your API key a name and select Job Board from the Type dropdown menu. When finished, click Create.
From the API Credentials page, navigate to your newly created Job Board API key for reThinkData and Copy the key. You will need to input this value in reThinkData later.
Retrieve Greenhouse Job Board Token
In addition to the Greenhouse Job Board API Key, your organization will also need to provide reThinkData with your job board token. This job board token allows reThinkData to pull jobs via the Job Post API.
Click on the Configure icon in the upper right-hand corner. Navigate to Dev Center on the left-hand panel. From the Dev Center page, click Configuring Your Job Board.
Use the Configure another job board dropdown menu to choose which job board you'd like reThinkData to pull from.
Navigate to the Your Board Token section and copy the token.
Enable Integration
With the Greenhouse Recruiting API Key and job board token copied, navigate to your reThinkData account and click My ATS from the navigation bar.
Use the provided dropdown menu to select Greenhouse.
Use the provided fields to input the Greenhouse Recruiting API Key and Greenhouse Job Board Token in the appropriate field.
Click Save when finished.
Create reThinkData Source
Next create a Source in Greenhouse Recruiting for any candidates that enter a job's pipeline through reThinkData JobSync. This will help your organization track the effectiveness of this particular integration in attracting talent into a job's pipeline.
Click on the Configure icon in the upper right-hand corner and navigate to Custom Options on the left-hand panel. From the Custom Options page, click Sources.
Click Create New Source from the subsequent page, and create a source with the following parameters:
- Sourcing Strategy: Third-party boards
- Name of Source: JobSync for Facebook
When finished, click Create Source.
With a source created, navigate to (Configure > Job Board > Job Board name) and click Tracking Link.
From the subsequent dialog box select:
- Who gets credit
- JobSync for Facebook
Click Create Link when finished.
Copy the generated tracking link and send send it to reThinkData in an email.
